- Mass Effect 3 is the best of the series by a country mile (not sure how unpopular that opinion actually is though)
- Priority Earth is one of the best missions in the series (could have used more aliens though)
- Leviathan is the best DLC
- A slightly more solid background story should have been given for Shepard, the player could then choose an angle. For example, rather than the Ruthless background, it could be the War Hero background but with a ruthless/renegade slant. It could then be referenced more often by characters, and Shepard's background not feel like such a pointless gimmick on the rare moments it is thrown in.
- Shepard should also have been given a first name (like John or Jane), it's just a little weird not to occasionally hear it.
- Liara, Garrus and Tali were significantly better characters in ME3. Take Garrus, in ME1 and 2 he was some sort of ideological fascist bully. In ME3 he has his head screwed on (call it character development if you want, but he's more likeable in ME3 anyway)
- Thane is cool to take on missions, but in the personal convos his character is uninspired and its just this hackneyed redemption story. Hmm...well maybe he's not that bad. All that spiritual buddhist nonsense was a bore though.
- Diana Allers' voice actor did no worse than half the trilogy's voice actors. (I mean some of ME1's voice work is ridiculous, it's like Skyrim or something)
