I'm sure 99% of the BSN probably hates me:

I hate Liara post ME1.
Tali isn't all that great
Garrus doesn't do anything for me, he's alright
Mass Effect 1 is the best in the series by a very large margin
Mass Effect 3 was a very mediocre game all the way through, not just the awful ending
I didn't think the combat was bad in ME1.
Mass Effect 2 had a very lackluster main plot.

1) can see where you're coming from with the jarring character change, but diagree
2) it doesn't help that in ME2 and ME3 she doesn't show up until 1/2 way into game
3) can it wait for a bit, i'm in the middle of some calibrations. Image IPB

5) it was... disappointing
6) agree
7) shepard: should i prepare for the reapers?

(most talk about ME3 since that game gets the most undeserved hate on BSN)

1. The ME3 endings are just fine now

2. ME3 is a great game (minus the Journal and small number of side missions)

3. I hate hearing things like "starbrat", "space magic", "kai lame", "bratalyst", etc (I think Kai Leng is not a good cerberus villain, but I still hate hearing him be called things like that. I think the Catalyst is not the best thing in the world, but no one will be able to make a good argument about the ending IMO if they can't be mature enough to use the real names [Crucible instead of "space magic", Catalyst instead of anything with "brat" in the nickname]) when making your case. This goes with anything, not just ME talk. Politics, best cereal brand, doesn't matter

4. I enjoyed the Hammerhead and Mako (even if they needed some more polishing)

5. All three games are great games.

6. MEHEM is very annoying.

7. I liked the reward for doing Pinnacle Station

8. Mass Effect 3: Citadel fits in just fine (If you play it at the right times) IMO

9. irrelevant details like when you are at Purgatory or the Embassies and Huerta Memorial Hospital's "bridge" is completely missing from the background or like how the Presidium's CSEC outpost already has the shattered glass on the ground before
Spoiler
even happens bug the hell out of me.

10. I enjoyed Mass Effect 3: Omega

11. Insanity is too hard for me, even in ME3 :(

12. They should put Mass Effect: Galaxy back up on iTunes as well as give the Android users the opportunity to get it. (I want the ENTIRE Mass Effect franchise titles, but I can't as long as Galaxy isn't put back up on iTunes... I especially want it since it adds a little bit of dialogue to ME2. Also, I've heard it has never been available for Android devices. I don't care if the game is panned by people, I still want it)

AND

13. (not sure if unpopular per-se) The Mass Effect Trilogy + DLC would be GREAT on the Wii U

Cool, didn't know about this one.  I know Miranda in ME2 also a line that is rarely taken (not the typical romance line you would pick) that I often take because it makes the romance tone appropriate and impactful.

What line are you referring to?

Are you talikng about the one where Miranda tries to make Shepard promise her that he will be careful and survive the suicide mission no matter what?
Where than you can either select "Yes I promise" or "No Promise"? Because I always pick the latter. The tone is far more impactful and a bit darker... like you've mentioned.

Oh and for the sake of this thread i'll add couple more that weren't in my previous list:

- I do not consider Refusal to be an ending choice AT ALL. It does not exist in any of my Shepard's universe. It's worse than any of the RGB choices.

- Mass Effect 3 had the best side missions in the trilogy. To clarify, anything that does not have 'priority' tagged to the mission, I consider as a side mission. So I don't just mean the fetch quests, which by the way isn't as bad people make it out to be.

lol jk I too enjoyed James a lot more than I thought (especially when I learned you could shut him down on the autoflirt thing) Heck, I even liked him more than Thane and Ashley.

I like Jacob, without regards to his romance.

I think James is a great character.

I like Liara, but I didn't want her as a squadmate again. I thought, you know, she moved on to her own path.

The Mako was awesome and I will never change my opinion about that.

I'm indifferent towards Allers. If I could, I'd trade her for Emily Wong / Khalisah Al-Jilani in a heartbeat. However, I still let Allers on my ship.

I never punch Khalisah Al-Jilani in my canon playthroughs.

FemShep's in-game default face gives me nightmares.

I like Kaidan more than Ashley, but I still hate the choice on Virmire. I still pick Kaidan every time but my soul dies a little inside.

I've accepted the endings, EC or no, as canon.

As cool as it is, I'm not a fan of MEHEM.

Thane shouldn't have been cured / spared in ME3.

I like the Council.

Arrival was okay.

(Not sure if any of these are unsung, but I know some of them are unpopular.)

ME3 is the pinnacle and precipice of RPG games and the best game in the series.

ME1 and ME2 are so lame and are nothing compared to ME3's awesomeness.

Sure, the suicide mission was good in ME2, but ME3's ending was way better.

Tali and Garrus suck.

Multiplayer is the best thing that could have happened to the series.

I like the only 1 hub world of ME3, compared to the 4 of ME2.

ME3's characters- EDI, James and Javik. Are way better than any three characters of ME2. Including Thane and Legion- who were both wimps and dumb.

Omega is the best DLC of the series.

The EC was a masterpiece.

The ending is the best moment of the trilogy.

Femshep is lame.

Kai Leng was about 5 times better than Harby and twice as good as Saren.

Priority Rannoch is grossly overrated on these boards. I thought the mission itself was very underdeveloped. Also, how Bioware handled the Geth in ME3 was disappointing to say the least.

I agree about the handling of the Geth, but for me Rannoch was done well, compared to most of the game.  It was just overall, one of the more enjoyable moments for me to go through in the game.

I prefer ME2 Jack over ME3, well certain aspects. I still love her character in the third game, but I just prefer her in two.

I vastly prefer ME3 to ME1. I don't like the endings, and have major issues with some of the game, but I still like it better than the absolute drag that ME1 is.

-I love Ashley Williams. ME1 version of her is one of my favorite characters, all three games counting.

-I enjoy playing through ME3 Vancouver prologue level despite the horrible auto-dialogue stuff.

-I enjoy playing through Thessia mission despite Kai Leng scene and horrible auto-dialogue stuff on the Normandy afterwards.

-I hate Vanguard's Nova power. I hate Charge/Nova spam playstyle with a passion.

-Despite audio improvements in general, I do not like how many of the weapons sound in ME3. Shotguns especially sound a lot better and more "powerful" in ME2.

-I only play as a default Sheploo and could never, ever start a game with any of the custom Sheps I ever saw on BSN, YouTube, etc.

-I dislike Wrex in ME3. I was really surprised to learn the same guy voiced him. To me, he sounded and behaved noticeably different compared to ME1 & 2.

There are good reasons for liking and disliking ME3's endings.

Auto-dialogue improved the quality of the dialogue lines themselves.

Mass Effect 1 is a good game, but the worst in the trilogy.

Turkey is not delicious. It only exists so you don't feel bad about eating so much stuffing.

 A little bit scared, but:

I like James

I didn't mind ME2 Jacob (He seemed liket "that okay guy" to me)

I don't like Liara

I never buy the Space Hamster

I never talk to Matriarch Aethya

I preffered EDI as the A.I, not so much in Dr Eva's body

I didn't like Eva Core in Mass Effect: Evolution (She spends the whole story trying to unhinge her jaw!)

I save Kaiden by default

I prefer Male-Shepard

Citadel DLC - I didn't like the Toothbrush gag

Citadel DLC - I felt Shepard was a bit "durr" in places

I like Troy Baker

The Codex states Humans started "aggressively" colonising - I sometimes worry that means "We kicked the Batarins off planets they had full right to"

I'm not a fan of "Evil Krogan" or "Krogan Henchmen"

:?
