I love Mass Effect 3.
I have very little to no problem with the Synthesis ending, my only reservation is making that choice for all species in the Galaxy, which is why I usually choose Destroy, but I have a few Shepard's that have chosen (and will choose) Synthesis.
I quite like Mass Effect 3's ending, with the EC.

Hmm.

-I think Thane should die
-Mass Effect 2 is a poor follow up of Mass Effect, and it enabled all the problems in Mass Effect 3
-I have no problem sacrificing EDI and/or the geth in destroy
-I don't like MEHEM

All I can think of at the moment.

Mass Effect 3 is my favourite game of the series, I'm fine with the endings after the Extended Cut and Kaidan is my favourite squadmate. Those are pretty unpopular opinions around here. ;)

I'm sure we all have those likes, dislikes, and theories we don't see all that often on here... What are some of yours?

I didn't save the Destiny Ascension, but not necessarily because of human interests. I refused because we had a goddamn Reaper on the Citadel. I felt that every resource available should have been used to make that thing die at all costs.  I had no idea the choice was supposedly for human interests until I saw discussion about it here.

If it had been somehow portrayed as that it would've been a much interesting choice, as it is the choice is really between go in and get involved in the battle (the geth ships attacking the DA would still have to be fought anyway) or sit back and let Council forces have their arses kicked on their own for a bit longer.

The thread is called unsung/unpopular opinions, I know for sure these are unpopular and I don't care. Then again, you can't stand people having their own opinions if they are not the same as yours.

Most unpopular opinion across the fanbase has to be about Morinth... LoL, even BioWare gave her only banshee quenn cameo...

I agree with most of the Renegade decisions (kill Council, kill geth, keep Collector Base, etc.).

I don't like Miranda, Liara, or Legion much, yet I do like Kaidan.

Mass Effect 1 is an alright game at best that tells a decent story but is hamstrung by horrible gameplay, repeated copy-paste environments, and Bioware's more boring group of NPC companions (excluding Wrex) ever.

In Priority: Thessia, he was hilarious when Liara was in denial about the goddess being a Prothean.

 ~> As a character, Wreav > Wrex.
~> ME2 Garrus was the worst Garrus.
~> EDI was a good character in ME3.
~> ME3 Cerberus > ME2 Cerberus.
~> Morinth > Samara.
~> Legion was right to abandon his previous beliefs in favor of doing what was pragmatic (read: logical) for his people in ME3.
~> Diana Allers is worth a spot on the ship (the character sucks, but the "media" angle in the story is worth it).

~> Omega DLC is fun.
~> ME3 TIM encounter on the Citadel is awful (great in terms of voice-acting, but awful in every other way).

~> Overall, ME3 is a good game.
*waits for the usual idiot to call me a troll for having different opinions*
When it comes down to it, we all have different opinions about something, and I'm no different in that respect. My different opinions may be a bit more jarring in nature than the usual differences, however! >=D

I really like ME3 ending.

ME1 is really good but has a lot of problems including the dated combat system.

I thought autodialogue was generally a good thing, maybe slightly overused but generally made sense in a lot of situations.

Didn't really like Garrus in ME1, thought he was a bit whiny (though this worked well with him 'coming of age' and becoming more independent in ME2)

Didn't really like the way stuff you were supposed to search for was just handily lying around during your missions in ME2 and ME3

I like Mass Effect 3 and all its DLCs
I don't really like Mass Effect 1
I like James (didn't know this was unpopular)
I kill Wrex, destroy Maelon's data and sabotage the genophage because I don't like the Krogan and would rather save Mordin than their entire race.
I think Femshep is wrong and can't stand the voice acting for her
I like Thane's death, it suits his character and is a great scene

I thought there should have been an all Blouse musical to celebrate the real hero of Mass Effect's hard earned triumph. Refund. Guy. Got the refund.

I loved ME1, was more akin to a true space opera RPG. I loved the planetary exploration, the inventory management, the MAKO (yes, I loved and had a freaking blast in that beast!), the weapon and armor customization and addons, ect.

ME2: was a huge dumbing down of the game systems and turned Shepard into a galactic babysitter and psychologist. The only redeeming thing BioWare did for ME2 was LotSB. OH, and I forgot to mention how retarded the whole killing and resurrecting of Shepard was.

ME3: while having some really great story and truly tear jerking moments, it still lacks any exploration that should be present in a large RPG game. I won't go into the clusterfrack that is the ending debacle, that horse is long dead and pounded firmly into the soil of a neighboring dimension. Needless to say, the last 10 minutes of ME3 personally killed the entire series for me.

Oh my dear god... In so many playthroughs of each game, I never realized it was the same guy seeking a refund for the same thing... I... I'm sad.

I find FemShep's voice unbearable. Which is odd as I enjoy Jennifer Hale's other work.
