Bioware just retconned gayness into Shepard and Kaidan in ME3. However, since Femshep always could romance Liara and Kelly, I think it was just fair.

I mean, Kelly is arguably just a sidekick that you can ignore, but Liara is a full-fledged lesbian romance. And don't give me any "technically Asari are not female" crap. If a woman feels attracted to Asari, she is definitely not strictly straight, and if a man feels attracted to Asari that doesn't mean he's gay. Asari are female LIs all right.

Wouldn't a human romancing an asari fall somewhere into the queer spectrum either way?  I mean, it's not a human.  That's definitely off the mainstream norm.

I think 3 is a fine send off to the greatest video game series ever. Why that should be an unpopular opinion on a Mass Effect forum is beyond me. Seriously if you don't like the game then sod off- it's been out for over a year now since the release.
