Sure rogues cant get the 2h tree, but they can equip the weapons with sufficient str.

Anyone ever try a 2h build?  Backstabs every swing with the big damage 2h'ers.  Can maybe even go str/cunning for massive APenn too.

It's been done. Though to me seems kind of silly.

Its been done. I've read somewhere (gamefaqs I think) that it does like ~100 b.stabs, though I don't know the PC's level.

heh 100 backstab damage. Wear some gloves with +backstab damage and boom that would be crazy and probably cause a lot of agro. but you could probably kill an enemy in like 3 hits and if you build on dual weapons like at least repoist and had coup de grace.. I think i might actually have to give this a shot also

Here's the topic I was talking about. I am not sure if it being in the 360 would make any difference.

Pretty sure you cant use the DW talents without actually DWing McPot. So youd be stuck using the 2 rogue tree moves+ the stun if you count that.

It could be decent, get lethality early and pump cun and some in dex.

Might as well go Sword and Shield instead of Two Hand. The major plus for 2 Hand is the talents, the auto attack is rather poor. S&S will give you a nice boost to defense. Given equal strength and no talents a s&s will out damage a 2 hand weapon because it is 5 attacks in 10 seconds vs 4.

Hmm interesting idea, was thinking of creating a 'chasind barbarian' style rogue, might have them wielding a 2h sword :D

100 damage per backstab isn't all that great considering how slow a 2 handed sword is, you'd still deal more damage per second by dual wielding.

If you do it I'd go str... It will eat up too much str to equip 2 handers and then split the stat spread between str/cun

My Rogue Archer using a 2H as his secondary weapon - mostly because it looks nifty. A sword and shield, as mentioned, is probably a better idea if you're actually going to fight with melee weapons on a regular basis. I did use a shield during the origin to improve my survival rate. But if you're going to buy all the archer talents and none of the DW talents, a 2H is perfectly viable.

Stealth+2H is very nice. Attack, Dirty Fighting, Attack, retreat to bow range.

I know what im saying is stun them with dual wielded weapons move repoist and if you have coupe de grace  (the spell that makes you backstab when an enemy is stunned) then swap to the 2hander.  the only thing im wondering really now though is if you can backstab with a 2h
