Hello,

With patch 4, using marksman on Ashley Williams sent her into an endless loop characterized by her freezing in place and constanly activating the ability over and over again.

With patch 5 some claim that it has been fixed, but I don't see in the patch notes. I've tested it out in SP and the bug still remains.

I suspect that the bug exists because marksman reloads ammo upon activation and squaddies don't carry ammo per say.

Is there a workaroud to it? Has Bioware indicated that they'll fix it? This is quite a game altering glitch affecting a character's trademark ability. (Imagine if Liara couldn't Singularity or Garrus couldn't use overload)

That's a good question. Unfortunately I am pessimistic that they would spend the money to develop and supply a new patch, since they are nearly done with DLC.

 I haven't experienced this glitch. After Ash uses marksman she goes back to normal for me.

Really? Are you on PC or xbox? Are you on the latest patch?

I think the glitch only occurs if Ash's thermal clip is partially depleted. When firing from an unused clip Marksman triggers as normal. At least that's the way it looks to me when I've been experimenting with it.

hmmm....thanks will definetly try that out.

 I play on the PS3 and I have Ash use marksman right before combat starts. So maybe her having a full clip is the difference like Darth Wraith said.
