Hey all, sorry for the wierd title and I hate to ask this question since I'm sure it's somewhere in the forums, but for the PS3, if I buy Mass Effect 1, will the character I create look exactly the same when they transfer to Mass Effect 2, and Mass effect 3?
I ask this because when I was transfering my FemShep from Mass Effect 2 to Mass Effect 3 on the PS3, there were some very noticeable differences in appearence. This was about a month after 3 had been released, and I havent played or kept up with updates since other than Mass Effect 1 being released on the PS3, so I have no clue if patches have changed this or not.

Your character will look the same when importing from ME1 to ME2 no problems.
There are some issues when importing from ME2 to ME3, mainly due--I think--to some changes to the face creator. There used to be a huge problem in ME3 where many imports would fail, but they were mostly fixed in the first ME3 patch. There are still some differences when importing to ME3, but they are only minor differences now I think, or at least that is from my experience. It is generally not too bad anymore.

There are some differences going from 1 to 2. Since I just did this yesterday the only thing that stood out as being off was hair style and eye color. The hair was probably the same just different with the updated graphics but the eye color is still a mystery too me. Whats strange is it looks right when you get to the part where you import the face but in game the eyes are not the dark blue i wanted. They still blue so I wasn't going to fuss about it.
