I like what you can do OP and I always enjoy seeing new mods emerging
and bringing new sets of possibilities on the table. Too bad for Shepard
being silent though but I do understand it is due to the difficulties
in finding matching lines or VA's, LoL.

There is one question I'm
kinda dying to ask though, could these scenes be somewhat
interchangeable between characters? Let's say in dancing scene, instead
of cortez-shepard, can you also swap their boddies to shep-miranda,
shep-thane, etc etc? I understand it'll probably be weird to suddenly
hearing miranda in cortez's voice, so probably having their convo muted
works better here.
If your mod can do that, then I think it will be
well appreciated to those who have a ME2 LI that doesn't get too much
screen time here in ME3

That is something that would greatly interest me as well - the technical aspects behind that particular problem. I take it that Lip-sync is somehow linked to the VA-files, and thus more often than not Shepards being mute in scenes not designed for their gender is the default...?

Guess I need to read into a hex-editor tutorial or another one of these days at any rate to make sense of that...

This is a fan mod. It is the same as any other fan mod, it is made to change the way BioWare made the game. If you do not like it, don't use it.

This is really neat. If I ever replay the SP with a manshep, I will have to check if there's more progress on this mod. Sure, it does change something that's "canon". But if you can accept cannon altering mods, I don't see the problem. Thumbs up, OP.

Hmmm, I think the Modder here is doing a fine job, this person appears to be gradually opening up the romances to be allowed for both sexes, meaning that we all have greater freedom in our choices. I think it would be good if you considered adding reasonably correct voices to these romances before expanding more romances to the other sexes, that way the mods feel more complete and thus, more useable.

Yes, I will edit dialog so things make sense, including giving Shepard a voice and proper lines.

To a limited degree, that was easily possible for me for Femshep/Ashley, as it were via ME3 Explorer. Even had result of that uploaded.

By and large, though, voice is muted in those exchanges. And it appears that the files I uploaded are bust, at least for me; hard-disk where I stored most of the ressource-files went out on me recently too, so I'll need to start from scratch. Recording, at least, is still up.


At any rate, looking forward to progress being made on the issue of muted dialogue, HJ!

Simple - some of the VA-files of Meer play fine for Femshep as well, instead of being muted; only thing to do is switch Meer's audio-lines out for appropriate ones of Femshep via ME3-explorer, while keeping duration of those lower than the lines replaced; tutorial on that was made by MrFob, among others.

Would of course help were that the case throughout. May help to look into the transition-scene between Mars and the Citadel, where Meer's VA plays all the way for Femshep too in case Ashley was romanced in ME1. Same goes for sections of the romance culmination, got the recording here:

Hope that helps give a few pointers, as I admit I was a bit at a loss when it comes to this.

I'm no modder so I can't help with the technical stuff (lack of time and lack of brain cells too I think =p) So maybe just the cheers? XD (gets the pom poms ready) XD

The most ironic thing about that is that it's far less of a hassle in ME3 to 'activate' than it was in ME2 itself. Simple edit of 'false' to 'true' via gibbed and it's done.

Only problem is...entire dialogue is muted. Tested at least the first dialogue after the 'naught-briefing myself, and here's a recording that covers most other dialogue that shows as much:

'course, no awkward Meer-as-Femshep moments that way, but alas...
The key may be some conditional for the VO that requires Shepards to be male. Only a guess of mine though.
