So I've got a bunch of copies of Mass Effect for all the systems, but when the trilogy came out for PS3, I had to get it to play Mass Effect 1 on the PS3 and grab trophies in the process. I know that initially you can't take that save into ME2, but has there been some sort of patch so that I'll be able to take my 1st Shepard into ME2 ??
I heard BioWare mention something about a ME1 to 2 patch for the PS3 just wanted to know if any of you guys have heard if it happened or took place already ??
Has the patch for PS3 ME1 to ME2 Shepard imports happened yet ??

Yes. a research will have provide you with the answer. Anyway, the patch exists and works properly for me. You just have to connect your PS3 to internet and launch ME2 then, it will be installed automatically.
