Alright, I have a question regarding archery.

Is there a penalty to shooting in melee if you have the melee archer talent? If an archer is engaged in melee, would it make sense to switch weapons, or no?

Not really. If you've got your character specced as an archer, you'd be lacking in DW talents, unless you made some investment in that direction. You can still fire arrows to an equal effect when your enemies are right next to you (and surprisingly miss, too)

Melee Archer is the first archery talent I take, and after that, I never have need of melee weapons again.
