I'd like Imoen's stats, especially the spells in her spellbook and her thieving skill abilities to be the same as they were @ the end of BGI/TotSC. I didn't use the other regulars this time but would like to know if there's a to edit NPCs so that their BGII skills, spells etc are the same a sthey were in BGI.
I know Level-1 NPCs can adjust stats, classes etc but it doesn't add the ability to set-up the spellbook. As an aside, the thieving skills don't seem to carry over either.
I'm playing with SCSII for the first time but the answer doesn't seem to lie there as I scan through the 'Read Me.'
Any help is appreciated folks.

Thanks Grond0. I can always count on your 'adult supervision' to keep me straight.
I was actually just playin' with SK for the first time.
Best I can tell, you have to start the game and then open shadowkeeper after your first save...or in the case of BGII, that first 'auto-save' after Imoen approaches your cage and lets you out.
I think I have that right. Do you concur?

Don't try using quick saves or autosaves. Do a save of your own. I don't think that Shadowkeeper recognises the others.
It works well. I had to edit my arctic dwarves as just importing them, I had major problems with the sub-race mod. It's not designed for use with BG1 so I created new characters and edited them to be the same as they were in BG1 except for spells and experience, then raised the experience and levelleed up. You need to choose appropriate spells at that stage for Imoen and then edit the spell list to be the same as it was in BG1. In Shadowkeeper you can add one kit also. So if you had Imoen as an assassin at the start of BG1, you can do that in BG2 also.
PS You can also use Near Infinity, but it is a lot easier to use Shadowkeeper. Near Infinity lets you do more however.
You can make new items and the like.

There's a problem with editing Imoen specifically, because you will have to edit her again later. I assume you know why <spoilers>.

I think that is taken care of if you want to use this mod. ImoenConjurer.rar
However, you might not want Imoen as a thief/conjurer.
I could also be wrong as I haven't tried it yet.

@ GtW: Thank you for your advise. I found Imoen in SK & started lookin' it over. Didn't see the thief part but I'm sure it's there somewhere. Hope to get organized in the next couple of days to start a BGII SOA-TOB run. Too bad I have to work in the real world, oh, & being a husband & father cuts into gaming time too. -grin-
@ The Potty 1: Pretty sure I know why but I'm not sure why it would change anything. I have her as a straight Mage 8//Thief 7 just like she normally starts BGII anyway. Heck, that's the reason I play her that way.

I just want to add the same spells she had in her spellbook @ the end of BGI and put her thieving skills @ the same % levels. Seems to me it doesn't make sense for an 8th level mage to have 4 1st-level spells in her spellbook - unless you determine that what the 'antogonist; does to her causes her to lose her spellbook. I guess in this case these would be the few she still had memorized when she was captured.

I think that some might dual at a different stage, at level 3 for instance. For them there is a lot more work to do in making her as she was at the end of BG1! It can be done. It is just VERY time consuming!
