When I'm in the level editor it looks like this.

After I export it and pull it up using the area layout it looks like this.

All of my upper walls are disappearing except for a few corner pieces. I notice that the walls I'm using have the 3D manipulator at ground level. Am I not anchoring them properly?

Do you have 'Fade Cutaway' enabled in the Area Editor? Its the half-white, half-brown circle icon at the top.

No, but when I do enable it it removes the upper portions of the walls just like in the exported version.

Are the pieces fading out because they aren't lit properly?

I've noticed that the upper level wall pieces I'm using are only textured on one side, but I wouldn't think that would be an issue if they are placed facing the correct direction.

Well, the button exists in both the Level and Area Editors. Its basically what the level will look like if the player zooms out with the mouse wheel and plays with the isometric camera mode. If enabling it on one makes it look the same on both, disable the button in both editors and it should look normal.

Thanks for the help.

The answer was in the thread about the missing trees. Once I set Fade Geometry Cutoff to false the upper wall pieces magically appeared.
