one thing we also have to take account of is that we will jave only ONE spec this time around, and this spec we chosen the npc's will take note of,so if you go a blood mage people might start talking and pointing fingers.....

Whoa, when did they say this? Did I miss this somehow? The PC only gets one spec and it affects how others treat them?

It was mentioned a while back. Somebody commented on how nobody seems to care your a blood mage despite it being a forbidden type of magic. Bioware said they would like to trade multiple specs in exchange for one being recognized.

I prefer mixing specs and metagaming why my character is a Templar/Spirit Warrior hybrid.

If I ever get around to my Aeducan warrior, she's going to be a Templar/Reaver/Spirit Warrior who is obsessed with magic and gaining as much of its power as possible.

Arcane rogue  like arcane warrior but the rogue version for mages.

illusionists create to distract enemies create illusions and mind  that turns brain to much for mages.

Fusion fuse with a spirit like a animal to gain new powers  and a armor bonus.

Maker light for mages uses holy light magic to do extra damage against the undead and protection magic.

The concept many people have floated that DA3 may end with everyone getting some form of magic may be a really good thing, from a gameplay standpoint.

As long as they work it into the story in an interesting way, I'm totally fine with that when it comes to classes and their mechanics. Also, that is such a world-changing event for Thedas, the ramifications would be great to watch unfold... but that's for another thread XD.

Although I will add that even if that does come to pass, I think they should still keep the core play style of the rogue and warrior. Some players just want to be a thief or your typical sword fighter who just doesn't care about magic. So I think keeping those elements is important. Incorporating magic into the melee classes does bring in some fun possibilities though, like paladin! If the templar becomes moot because everyone has magic, including the templar himself, I can see a transition to paladin for that spec.

i knew they would have to eventually give the other classes magic to compete with a mage, if not magic psychic powers.

I always wanted a spec based on the Ash Warriors from Origins. The class could have abilities from Berserker, but then you also get abilities that are tied to your Mabari Hound and working together with it.

wasn't this pretty much the rogue class in DA2 anyway??

I wouldn't mind an unarmed, arcane fighting type class. A kind of arcane monk?

With abilities akin to Fenris's use of his lyrium tattoos, and other things, like elemental punches and kicks! Perhaps also something where the fighter can call upon a fade spirit to envelop them and then fight as the spirit, or some other kind of monster aura (the closest visual I can think of to help explain this is like someone piloting a Gundam...). And then of course throwing fireballs/lighting bolds/shards of ice and those kinds of things. And I believe staves are used to focus a mage's magical attacks, so is it possible for magical rings to be made the same way? Seeing as staves would probably get in the way of this characters fighting style, using magical rings would be much more convenient.

If this sounds too ridiculous I blame the fact that I am still sour since they removed the unarmed/unarmored skills from Elder Scrolls. :pinched:

1. Create hot key to command companion action on main character

2. Create combination attack sequence set key on main character. For the example main character has slot for command party member sequence you can add action from the other and you can arrange sequence action on them. That will be easy for us to create combo attack and not need to pause game for action combo
One press key the party member will be combo attack together.

3 create own arrow

4 create library on ours home, we can come back to read ours journal and conversation or lore in the world of dragon age.

5 the environment should be destruction and effect on combat

6. The loyalty on party member has effect in the battle. If they has high loyalty. They will follow the order and that will increase effect on combo if not sometime they decide on they own.
