I've always had Alistair put up as King so now I'm wondering...If I let him slay Loghain at the end, will he stay with the Grey Wardens? If I make the ultimate sacrifice will he continue to be a Warden? What if I do the ritual?
I'm just curious how to keep him as a Warden.

Duel Loghain yourself and execute him. The choose Anora as sole ruler. If you let Loghain live, Alistair will not remain a Warden (he will leave or be executed). As long as you kill Loghain and choose Anora, it doesn't matter whether you do the DR or not, Alistair will remain a Warden. Don't let Alistair duel Loghain, though.

^ What she said. Also, silly me for assuming your warden was male and forgetting to mention the whole "I won't let you die" thing. I think I blocked it out because it was too traumatic.

They won't marry if Alistair kills Loghain. (Or rather, Anora won't marry the man who wielded the sword that killed her father.) You can kill Loghain, and Anora will be happy to marry Alistair. (Well, not exactly "happy". But she'll do it.)

What about the relationship between Anora and the Warden after the Warden kills Loghain? Does she hold any ill-will towards you for doing that?

She'll break that off too.
Anora will never marry the person who killed her father, be that the warden or Alistair.
Though she doesn't seem to mind who duels him, and she won't hold it against you if Alistair kills Loghain on your orders. As a game mechanic, all she cares about is who actually delivers the execution blow.
