Just curious and waiting for the Oscars to start so I'm killing time here lol!:innocent: So BSN do you have a particular reason behind your GT, how'd you pick the handle? I'll start mine is actually my RL nickname and 87 is my birthyear, useless fact of the day, you're welcome!B) So give me your reasons for your Origin/ X-box GT/ PSN id pls.:wizard:

I know right! I hope Jessica Chastain wins but anyways I am a huge Metal gear solid fan so I named myself after my favorite character. Most people always ask what the SAA stands for and it's the gun Ocelot uses, the Single Action Army, one of my favorite guns. Thus BigBossSAA was born.

And old nickname I got in 3rd or 4th grade.
While 2 is like my lucky number.

Though now I'm going as CroGamer002 for couple of years on other sites.
Cause I'm Croatian, a gamer and I thought of this name while watching James Bond movie.

Ever since I first saw Monty Python's Flying Circus, the parrot has been a recurring theme in my internet usernames.

In the case of my GT, the adjective 'mad' carried over from my PSN id, and I was born in 1991.

When I named my Alienware in 2009, I wanted something in line with the Intel style of codenaming things (Sandy Bridge, Clarkdale, etc), so I called it Starkfield (forgetting that it was the name of the miserable New England town in Ethan Frome until later). When I made my steam account, I went with that as my name, and it has stuck as my "GT" since.

I actually am the starkfield on BSN as well, but I made that account with a different email than my Origin email, so I had to make a separate account to post in the ME3 forum =/ Trying to get them to merge the accounts was a huge hassle so I went with Strongwater here (the name of the space station from my webcomic).

Came up with it when I was 15 or 16. I was thinking of a name for Adventure quest, and since i'm more of a jack-of-all-trades, never master = Nevmaster. Then it stuck cause I can never think of anything else

Have had mine since I started any kind of online gaming, which has been like 10 years now. Back in the day we had like 4 dart boards in our cellar and played every day, and 54 is just a number i liked, no idea why ha.

"Kushan" after the name of the player race in the Homeworld games. Was probably the first game I was emotionally involved in growing up. That part when adagio for strings plays? Just got back to the Homeworld after testing the jump drive? Think it's the first time I tried to hold back tears. "101" because it was already being used...
Later learned that the "Kushan" was actually a real empire from the Indian subcontinent, and had quite a interest in furthering philosophy, art and science. So I stayed with it :)

Daniel Day-Lewis is a shoe in for Best Actor I think anyway, the Best Actress gong though is more of an open race. Also cool GT, love MGS too!B)

I thought of some random name without a meaning. What a fascinating story, isn't it? (Also the name wasn't already taken.)

My gamertag is my BSN handle. I wanted to synchronize. Most of my friends on Xbox Live are on the BSN. It doesn't take a genius to figure out what my handle means. The people I have known the longest on there know me by something entirely different.

As a side note - I have had 10+ GT changes on Xbox, and I'll probably do it again.

PSN ID same as BSN ID - Was sitting and watching Monday Night Football and remember adjusting to the new role of parent (twins) and just getting some "dumb" time...they were doing the player intros, and every player says thier name and what school they attended....Marcellus Wiley of the SD Chargers just say "Dat-Dude!!!!" with a long pause....I started cracking up, there was something profound about it to me (like, what;s in a name, I am here to tackle people)....loved it so I blagged it back in 2004 and have been using it since.

Edit - the 1970 part is my birth year....so yeah, I take geritol every morning (haha!)

I think you can guess.

We could, but we have already dismissed those claims.

I picked this name after one I used for a long time was picked up by naughty word filters, first in BF2142, and later on XBL.  I was trying to think up something that meant something.  At the time I was playing with a clan that was playing in Joint Operations, and I was somewhat known for pulling insane knife kills, even tricking people out of armor or jumping in their vehicles to get the shanks.  I rolled with MeSilentBlade for a while, but I didn't like the sound of it.

People in my clan, Man Evolved, would welcome people aboard with a catch phrase, so I worked my new name by coming up with mine:  Live by the code, Die by the Sword.

My personal philosphy on violence can be summed up by a line from a Megadeth song: "Hide in the shadows awaiting defeat or live by the sword and choose to be free."  At the end of the day, I'd rather die fighting than roll over and take whatever the enemy is offering to ram down my throat.

Erghiez is an old school PS1 title not many people are familiar with. It also sounds neat. My Xbox live gamertag is GoopSock. PoopSock was already taken so I had to improvise.

I was nine years old when I made my PSN, and I loved movies or games that involved fighting with swords. Plus nine year olds aren't very creative.

Thus, I became SWORDSRULE.

My gamertag is a bit of a hybrid between the abbreviation of an old nickname I used to have and the fact that I like dragons a good deal. Not like any of the other tags I've gone by, so I've stuck with it.
