Pretty much what the title says. Do you have a Fail/Insane Shepard? If yes how did s/he act during the three games? How do you imagine the outcome after s/he made hade her choice?

Here is my fail/insane Shepard (also posted it another thread):

- Killed Wrex, the Rachni Queen and the Council in ME1. Udina is naturally the new boss.

- Romanced no one ME1, Jacob in ME2, Diana Allers in ME3.

-Handed over Veetor, David Archer and Legion to Cerberus, let Grunt in the tank, got Tali exiled, destroyed Maelons data, got everyone but Jacob, Jack and Miranda killed. Kept the control base.

- Cured the genophage with Wreav as Krogan chief, killed the Quarians, let the Grissom students die, freed the Rachni clone, discouraged EDI and Joker to hook up, got Cortez killed and chose Renegade Control in ME3.

Headcanon outcome:

-Trolling the galaxy (especially Harbinger and the Councilors) even harder than the brat, after giving it a small
ray of hope. When it's over, going to another galaxy so on.

I could never bring myself to do a "fail Shepard" playthrough. I always enjoy reading/ watching other decisions though. Blonde Shepard was always my favorite ().

Yes, yes, and it's pretty much what you'd expect from that playthrough.

Here are some of my finer troll-moments, though....

~> On Thane loyalty-mission, Abby abandoned Joram Talid immediately to purposely fail. Just as time expired, however, she had managed to run all the way to the final room just in time to sock that employee kid in the gut. Then, Kolyat kills Talid.

~> Gardner's grocery assignment ... (1) Tell him I have more important work to do that shop for groceries; (2) Go to Zakera cafe and save game; (3) Buy ingredients; (4) Go back to ship and reject the offer to sample his gumbo; (5) go back in time (reload save from Zakera cafe) and do NOT buy groceries; (6) get entire crew killed at the Collector Base; (7) buy groceries again, keeping all the good food for yourself. =D

My very first playthrough starting back on boxing day, I only had ME3, didn't know about save imports, didn't know about save editors, didn't know there were DLCs, missed everything that wasn't an actual mission...so, yeah everyone died. Sided with the Geth, then picked destroy. Didn't let Allers on to the ship. Cured genophage with Wreav alive and Eve dead, released the Breeder.

Ahahaha I just read your comment on my Fail Shepard in the other thread. Lemme see if I can dredge up something I posted about him...

EDIT: Okay, here we go:

I'll actuallly have something close to this on my Fail Shepard playthrough.

Let's see...I shot Wrex and left Kaidan and Kirrahe on Virmire in ME1. This was after murdering Shiala, Gianna Parasini, and the Rachni Queen, which I followed up by killing the original Council. In ME2 I lost all my crew and every squad member except for Kasumi and Samara. I also sold Legion to Cerberus, murdered Sidonis, depressed Conrad Verner (causing him to get killed), and never stopped Kolyat from becoming an assassin. In ME3 I never recruited Javik, saved Kahlee Sanders, or completed Kasumi's mission, saved the corrupt Rachni Breeder, let Padok sacrifice himself for a Wreav-led Krogan without Eve, saw the Salarian Councilor get ganked by Kai Leng, shot Ashley in cold blood, watched Samara commit suicide only to murder Falere, allowed the Geth VI to destroy itself and wipe out the Quarians, let Oriana die on Sanctuary, kicked Diana Allers off the ship...

So that leaves Liara (who I've cheated on), EDI and Joker (who aren't dating), Vega and Cortez (who I never talked to), Traynor, Engineer Adams, Dr. Michel, Urdnot Wreav, possibly Kasumi, and the very slim chance of Aria appearing.

Granted I could have done a slightly better job f***king things up. I probably could have saved Wrex in ME1 to betray him in ME3, still shooting Padok--which means both Wrex and Wreav would be dead--and I could have not recruited Dr. Michel. I also could have beat the Suicide Mission with Zaeed and left him to die on his Loyalty Mission afterwards, leaving me with one ME2 squad member in ME3.

But you can see that even with an absolutely abysmal playthrough there's a certain threshold of people you must have. You'll always have at least James, Liara, and EDI, plus four crew members (Joker, Cortez, Traynor, and Adams). Should make for an amusing DLC, eh?

EDIT: As a side note, Fail Shepard's name is Chuck Shepard. He looks like a perpetually angry black Santa Claus with blonde hair and a blonde beard, he's a Soldier, and he wears neon pink armor and that brown jacket with no sleeves everywhere he goes. Just added entertainment value.

Citadel DLC should be VERY entertaining.

Impressive. I'm taking notes. Particularly liked the Padok/Wrex/Wreav combo.

I think that recruiting Javik, never supporting or taking him to any mission and making him touch the memory shard, so he can kill himself after the war is, imo, a more efficient way to troll him.

As for Joker, making him hook up with EDI is maybe the best way to get him killed. Just sad that we can't get Liara killed. Or see TIM actually assuming control of the Reapers (i.e. not indoctrinated).

I have my insane Shepard:

femshep, name: Nimue, adept, blonde in ME1&2, light pink hair in ME3, ruthless, Earthborn, kept the scars from Lazarus Project

Romanced Liara in ME1, Thane in ME2 and ME3.

Obsessed with power, renegade and cruel but mostly nice to her crew, especially to females. Mostly, she takes other girls for action, with the small exception for Thane and Javik. She loves trolling Liara, didn't have any regrets for leaving her, started the romance, because she wanted to know how does it feel to mate with asari. ;)
Ignored Samantha and Vega, when talking to them she always took renegade responses.

Decisions:
ME1: killed rachni and Wrex, saved Council, chose Anderson, saved Ashley
ME2: thrown that merc through the window in Dantius Tower, destroyed Maelons data, took Grunt and Legion with her, killed the heretic geth, left workers to die at Zaeed's loyalty mission, earned loyalty of everyone (but lost Miranda's), in SM died: Jack, Mordin, Grunt, Zaeed, Jacob, Miranda, LEgion, destroyed the collectors base, because Thane wanted that.
ME3: saved Samara, sabotaged the genophage, killed Ashley, killed the quarians for no particular reason, killed the rachni-something, chose destroy though she wanted to choose control at first (but didn't want to live forever without Thane and remembered the time he said that "it is important not to become what we fight" - or something similar. She turned away in the last moment and went for destroy believing that she would die- how unfortunate that she took that breath at the end. ;)

This is my experimental renegade Shepard, that I really started to like in ME3. I knew what will happen, when I made choices with that Shepard, the only bad thing that happened and wasn't my conscious choice was JAck's death on SM. I made an effort to kill every other character and wanted to kill Garrus too, but decided that ME3 squad would be too boring without him.

Jayne (as in Cobb) Shepard. Perhaps not a "failshep," per se, but worst outcome of my four playthroughs. Best described as an opportunist. Never passes up a payoff or a chance to get laid (by a human).

ME1: Killed the Rachni Queen. Talks down Wrex, but loses Kirrahe and Kaidan on Virmire. Romances Ashley. Sacrifices the Council.

ME2: Didn't do Mordin or Grunt's loyalty missions, took the paragon path in Zaeed's loyalty mission and failed the dialogue check to earn loyalty. Betrayed Samara. Betrayed Tali at her trial. Sold Legion. No ship upgrades - lost Jack, Kasumi, and Thane as a result. Let Jacob walk the tubes at his request. Lost Mordin holding the line, lost Zaeed at the final battle. Romanced Kelly, then Miranda. Didn't do LotSB or Overlord. Survivors: Garrus, Tali (unloyal), Grunt (unloyal), Miranda, Morinth.

ME3: Lied to Ashley about the relationship with Miranda. Broke things off with Miranda in attempts to patch things up with Ashley. Between that, the distrustful replacement Council, and Udina's fake footage, Ashley couldn't be talked down and ended up being shot. Later learned Kelly was executed by Cerberus; later, Miranda died on Horizon. Shot Wiks in the back, killed Wrex and lied about why he was attacked. Sided with the Quarians and shot the Geth VI three times in the face, but abandoned Koris. Abandoned the Rachni Breeder, but lost Grunt. Extremely frustrated by the end of things, en rout to choose Destroy but shot the brat out of sheer principle, thus dooming the cycle by accident.

Basing the decision to destroy the Collector base just because the boyfriend wanted it that way can be considered as a good fail. Choosing destroy just to suicide but unfortunately survive is an epic fail.

I think killing off Parasini and Anoleis on Noveria counts as insane

like why was that option even in the game
