I knew it would be a matter of time before someone put a clock in a DA game. It REALLY begs the question of the level of technology involved when that stuff starts slipping in.
Dwarves have clockwork per DAO.
Hmmm...I can't remember seeing one. Was it actually in-game or some bit of lore in the Codex that I missed?
It wouldn't surprise me if it was in-game and I totally missed it; clocks, particularly tower clocks and big standing clocks, have been part of the generic fantasy look for a very long time now. For a much longer time (and also more common) than the currently rather prevalent gunpowder weapons even. It's the kind of stuff you don't even consciously notice anymore.
Someone's great-great grandfather invented a water-clock...or something.

In-game bit of lore IIRC, but no actual clock was seen. Or maybe it wasn't DAO but a dev post that said they mastered clockwork.
But I'd honestly expect the Dwarves to master it anyway. They're the second most advanced race in Thedas and they live underground where it'd be harder to tell time.

That, or they constantly miss their meetings, which would partly explain their crankiness and in-fighting.

Half of the Proving challenges issued start out with "By the time you made it to dinner, the nug roast was cold!!"

Dinner time is the best clock!
