Also - why would anyone bother faking 6 banners? Where would they get those images to mash together for the last one? Seems legit, but ive been wrong before, many times :/

imma call fake as hell...cuz ALL the characters in those pics are the exact same as the character select menu!
maybe taken for the N7HQ doodad.  photoshopped...and given a crumby background.

they arent very inspiring.

What's wrong with reusing art assets such as the character select menu? Many of the challenge banners reuse art assets from someplace else within the game ex. like the Squad Elite banner using the silhouettes from the unit promotion splash screen, or Best of the Best using the game cover's Shepard as seen to the right of this forum page. 

Also, the presence of obviously new art assets such as the Krogan Warlord, Talon Merc, Alliance Infiltrator, Geth Juggernaut and that third Salarian in the banners lends support to their authenticity since this is the first time we've seen of them.

Do you know what a Render is...?
You could say exactly the same thing about all the other "leaks" that have been coming out over the months of ME3 being out. Ever since the very first screenshot showing the character cards for the Batarians and Geth.

I'm just saying that this looks EXTREMELY legit for someone to just do for poops and giggles, they would have to get all the models (or something similar as they have not been released yet), pose them in a modelling software, analyse and replicate how the artists at BioWare present their character renders on these "fake" ones which requires a lot of time and Photoshop know-how. (Trust me)

And that's just for the character art! They'd then have to get a legitamate looking background, photoshop them all together and make them look believable as a screenshot from in-game, find the EXACT same font that BW use in-game for ME3 etc etc

THAT... is a lot of effort for some loser to go "LOLOL I TROL UUU".

They said the Reckoning banner wouldn't contribute to BotB so I suspect none of the new banners (if real) would affect it either.

I don't know, my good friend. They have done the same with other multiplayer banners: taken the character select screen pose and placed it before a background.



Not to mention taking already existing art and slapping an emblem or something over it, as see in Dog of War or Operation Tribute.

Not like there's anything wrong with that! Still look good anywho!
