Thing is, the Female Turian we're getting in Reckoning has different armour to Nyreen in Omega.
Her chest piece, shoulder armour and legs are different.

Ha - thank you! I'll admit it's logic mixed with instinct, a couple of the arguments could go both ways, but... I've seen a lot of fakes, and I've seen a lot of leaks, and fakes tend to be a lot fakier than this.

Frankly, though, the biggest clue is - reckoning banner, I can understand, but why would a fraudster bother making an asari banner? If they're just making banners to mess with people, what's the asari adding, whose cage is that meant to rattle? I mean, the net result is that it makes it look more legitimate to mugs like me, but if you're mocking pictures up just to see who's going to swallow them, rustling up a Matriarch banner would just be another banner full of things you might potentially get caught out on.

If it's a fake, this is extreme dedication to a bit.

Those banners are pretty weak. Most are old characters hmmm. If this is really it pretty much confirms there's only 6 new characters.

No , I'm justlooking at the details.Sure, you can say the edibot, the collector, the prime andthe Zaeed merc can be esily be faked..But the Krogan war master with his tech armor and the female turican can't. That is way to much detal to 3d model for a quick fake.

why cant it be faked? why are you so sure? Gary'd Mod...stuff for DAZ and Poser....3DMAX...so on and so on. all you gotta do is get the model outta the game and onto a 3d program.

or....get the pic from a mag or someplace on the internet...cut and paste. so on and so on.

if it exists....it can be mainpulated

all im saying is...I DONT BELIEVE everything i see on the interweb...this? this i will not believe till i see it myself...cuz the SOURCE....or lack thereof...is questionable (nonexistant  rather)

Yes I have no idea what so ever...looks at wall in office, oh hey there Bachelors of Fine Arts in Graphic Design.  Yes I know nothing, nothing at all about photoshop, illustrator, or any other program out there to render up an image banner.

While these could very easily be fakes, is it bad if I really want them to be real? Zaeed and a Collector would be awesome characters as far as I'm concerned.

The Alliance Infiltrator is the same as EDI from SP yes. However, the image used is not. 



This is the pose that EDI has in the SP, and it's clear to see that it's not the same as the pose the Alliance Infiltrator unit has.

While that is a possibility, I don't remember images that can be taken that would give the exact same angle as the character in the banner, and trust me attaching heads from one image unto another convincingly is difficult enough as is even if you have good images (I make a lot of 'head transplants' in my spare time). 

The Collector in fact is a piece of work BUT if you compare this picture to the Punisher one...its nearly the same in Green. In Mass Effect 2 you encountered numerous of these , so it wouldn't be hard to take a picture. 

It's not nearly the same. Not only does the banner pic have more detail, said detail also looks different, not to mention that the eye glow would have to be tone down and more detail added to make a convincing shop.

While I have not played the Omega DLC yet, and am not sure about Nyreen's alternate appearance there, the image in the banner doesn't conform to any known images of Nyreen so far, especially when it comes to the armor design, which is less ornate (i.e. less spikes) than Nyreen's standard armor.

On the asari note, do you think that might imply another asari in the DLC? We have a ton, but Thessia got kicked in the pants, so it makes sense. And the Council races all feed into the Council Operative Banner anyway, so...
Then again, it could be just for ****andgiggles.

Juggernaut and Prime use different models. The Juggernaut in these 'leaked' banner images do not have the transmitter nodes on their backs. Nor does the Juggernaut mode at all, given it is not a command unit like the Prime is. Your debunking was debunked. :U

Still, looking at that Punisher banner, you can see that the 'Zaeed' character lacks his tattoos on the exposed skin, the Warlord's tech armor variant, and (unless its head is just titled a bit to its left) has a different head shape from the basic troopers, but not like the Captain.

Little interesting details along the way and all that.

You do know it's Maya and other 3d models that have to be made first to even start to make a pic with.
If this was pure 2d art it would be one thing. But this is a pic of 3d art.

If you look closely at the thrall, it seems it has the red and blue lighting on the sides of its head like most ME3 MP character art does, example here: http://rome123.devia...ldier-331906075

Doesn't really indicate whether or not these are legit, but it shows an attention to detail and not just some random character portraits pasted from google images.

Ok professor, thanks for the input tonight.  We'll see what happens on tuesday.  Like I said more than once I would love for them to be real...still calling them fake.
