It fits with lore...bit of a massive spoiler for those who haven't bought/completed the Leviathan DLC though. Could be cool. But a thought, what appearance options would a collector thrall have? possessed light color maybe but beyond that...?

Not really the same thing. Way I see it, everybody wins. Lore's not broken, so Purists shouldn't have any problem with it. It's a Pseudo-Prothean, so people who want Protheans are getting the closest thing to it. A fine compromise, if you ask me. Hell, I'm actually kind of excited for the kit.

Hadn't seen this posted in this thread yet. I have no idea if this is legit, but I figured this thread would have a lot f Collector Thrall "experts", and was wondering if you could give some insight. Does that look like a Thrall to the right of EDI?

Sorry if this is already proven fake, I'm a bit slow on the updates

Also, if it is real, does someone have a name of the class/kit?

yeah, it doesn't make any since. We learned in leviathan that they can control reapers that are in range of the orbs. So why control one thrall to send in against enemies it is also in range to control? That would be putting the rest of the allied squad in danger for a pointless mission/battle. And wasting recorcess in the war.

What's stoping said leviathen from implanting small version of said orb into a thrawl?

What? Sorry but that isthe mostrational way to make sense of it. Being that theleviathen are a race so old they saw the birth of the dinosaurs, it's not a strachthey know how to manipulate their tech. Nothing say they can't make smaller version of their domination tech.

I didnt say it was a stretch. It isnt. Nowhere in the Leviathan dlc did it explain this. Are you saying you DIDNT just use your imagination to make it make since?

It's a compromise. In truth, I'm a bigger Collector fan. Them zombie bugs. 


I didn't consider them as alternatives until Leviathan made it possible.
