Decision time for me! I am playing a Warrior, and have left Lothering, in camp, and ready to exit. I have looked at the world map,and see all the options. I have narrowed it down to Redcliffe or the Lake Calenhad. Does it matter which one first? I can not decide, and curious if there is any impact on the decision? Least spoiler information is best. Thanks!

Not really as of yet... Lake Calenhad leads to the mage tower (which is despised by some and liked by others) while Redcliffe Village ultimately leads to Redcliff Castle, which (for some time) while lead to another quest you need to accomplish before even being able to finish the quest fully.

well you can get an excellent healer at the mage tower which does come in handy.

My first couple of play throughs I did Redcliffe first. Now I usually do the mage tower first.

Storywise, it doesn't matter - you can do the areas in any order you like without any impact on what happens. A lot of people (me included) tend to go mage tower first due to certain bonuses found there which are good to get early
