Reckoning DLC characters vs Earth DLC characters

Reckoning is bringing out another batch of characters with custom skins and unique abilities. From the look of things, we're getting a very diverse blend of different alien characters, as opposed to Earth's human set.
Question is, do you think Reckoning characters will surpass Earth characters?

I think so.

About the others, the Juggernaut feels quite unique as well, since it's the first "giant" character we get, and as such could bring a new kind of gameplay.
I am not sure if those newcomers will surpass the Earth Characters which were really well designed, but I am sure they will bring some fresh air and variety when it comes to gameplay, and could at least be equal to the N7 operatives in that sense.

If this chargeless vanguard rumour is true I will be very happy.
Saying that though it will be hard to get a better character than the paladin.

For me, Reckoning will likely surpass Earth. The Earth characters, while unique in their own way, were all humans. Reckoning gets bonus points for using a multitude of species alone.
QFT Earth DLC was fun but I hated how the humans got all the good stuff.

Earth DLC didn't introduce any new character models, as they were all from the single player. But, the powers were great and the game mechanics they introduced were fantastic. It seems that Reckoning is trying to introduce new ideas beyond the scope of just new powers. The Collector Thrall and Geth Juggernaut may bring in new playstyles entirely, who knows?
They were new to MP. And the Paladin and Destroyer were never in SP.
And also, Reckoning is using skins we've seen before too. Collector Captain, Blood Pack Krogan, Geth Prime, EDI bot, etc.

Characters:
Six characters, all using old models (though extra effects were added)
1/6 had entirely new powers
5/6 had 2 new powers and 1 old power in their kit
All were human
Weapons: N7 Piranah, N7 Typhoon, Acolyte pistol. All three of these are still viable weapons.
Maps: Box of Shame, London, Ramp of Shame
Gear: some stuff.
Reckoning:
Characters.
Six characters (that we know of), one using an entirely new model (krogan warlord). Only one human.
New ways to fight, specifically we get our own geth prime, and a unit focused around melee combat (warlord)
we get a possessed collector.
All have minimum 2 new powers, one old power
No salarians
Weapons: Chackram launcher(unconfirmed) Executioner (confirmed), Venom (confirmed), Punisher (unconfirmed), Adas (semi-confirmed), Lancer (confirmed), Spitfire (confirmed
Maps: None.
Gear: some more stuff.
Looks.. pretty even to me.

Paladin and Destroyer used armors avaliable in both ME2 and ME3. (terminus and firestorm armors)
