How did you get 1000G? I found that the best way to get money was once you reach the level where the loot upgrades to tier 7. You can throw it in your chest at the Keep and it upgrades. Sell the tier 7 stuff. But after buying all the tomes and a few expensive items, I only had like 300 or so. But I would love to know your secret.

Pickpocketing everything that moves can also net you a fair bit, the Guy in Orzammar who offers the Lyrium Quest (Rogek?) has 20 sovereigns, there are a few more you can pick pocket for 2 or 3. Orzammar on the whole has a ton of gold.
For equipment, I don't think you'll get much argument on: Lifegiver, Spellward, Andruil's Blessing and Key to the City. There really isn't any other gear that competes with those items in those slots. As for the other stuff I like the Gloves and Boots of Diligence, Helm of Honnleath, Evon the Great's Mail, The Rose's Thorn and the Edge, but that requires that you raise your strength to 32. If you're wiling to leave your strength at 16, then the Helm of Honnleath, Bard's Dancing Shoes (I don't like the Cadash Stompers because they increase Aggro which you don't want as a rogue), Red Jenny Seekers, Felon's Coat, The Rose's Thorn and the Edge. Actually if you can find the tier 7 Crow Dagger with three runes I prefer it to the Edge, but I don't always find it (Gorim had one in one run but he didn't have it in another one).

No idea. I just played the game, sold stuff I didn't need. That's what the character screen said anyway. Of couse never had that much at any time, that's the lump sum earned throught the game.

Oh yeah maybe total gold earned at 1K but to have at one time, thats a lot. Never buying anything and selling everything.

Helmet: Conspirator's Foil (for melee rogues) or The Long Sight (for archery rogues)

A fascinating list. Especially the main hand blade. And the bow that is restricted to use by another character.

Far Song far outclasses Marjolaine's Recurve--which is lucky because (unmodded) only Leliana can equip Marjolaine's Recurve!
And you don't necessarily have to do something evil to get Far Song, but in that case, you have to be willing to metagame!
