Yes it's kinda sad really
Not really, it is just showing the majority of fans are disappointed and Bioware did not listen to them.
They may not think the ending is good with it but considering that the complaints and rage about the ending died off once the extended cut was released, I think they were largely successful in at least making the ending acceptable.
The complaints and rage didn't die off after EC was released.
A lot of people gave up on Bioware and moved on, many left during the time from ME3 release to EC as well.
Since Autumn the rage has largely died down since people got bored of how bad this game is.
I myself stopped raging long ago because it was very boring.
The ending is only acceptable to a few, most people are too fed up to even bother.

In theory, the trailer could be so bad or they could bump the price higher, and I'd probably be like "No thanks", but nothing so far's scared me off.

And if you hate the ending and still buy it you should be ashamed of yourselves, your only validating BW's choice on this.

How about if this is the sort of product you want to see more of (character focus, story)? Can you not vote with your wallet, or is everyone's wants binary here?

I guess it´s a valid reason, but it´s just another yank to your chain. You pay and you still get screwed at the end. It certainly encourages BW to go on as they are now.

I'd be with you if I hadn't given up on the war effect months ago.Reap_ii wrote...

I have not, and will not, spend any more money on a Mass Effect based product, unless the next game in the MEverse is an extrodinary game, and even then I'll most likely wait until it's on sale or in the bargain bin. Leviathan gives more exposition and more relevance for the Catalyst (so I hear) but Bioware forgets that the Catalyst's existance destroys the plot of ME1, and by extension, ME2. Omega never really interested me from the beginning. I never really cared too much one way or the other about Aria or Omega except as a place to get Mordin and Garrus in ME2.
I have completely lost faith in Bioware's ability to tell a cogent, coherent story. Whether that's the fault of the writers themselves, EA's involvement, or Hudson and Co. hijacking the story because of...yanno, "art," I don't know, but whatever the cause, Bioware has definately dropped off my "buy now" list of developers.

Short answer: lol no.
I don't place faith in a company(EA. Bioware is enslaved) that'll put profits before quality.

Will you buy Leviathan? Yes.
Will you buy Omega? No.
Will you buy Citadel? Yes.

Big thing is that if you hate the ending as much as some of the naysayers are trying to say then it should get you to stop playing the game again and not want to buy the DLC.Nerevar-as wrote...

I´ve been unable to go back to SP and only very recently to MP. Does that fit?

Thanks for that video. I don't care who CleverNoob is or if he believes in IT or if there're people who hate him or what he said previously; this video shows in a pretty objective way that 2/3 of ME3 players (or at least those who are fan enough to vote in polls or post in forums) are not happy with Bioware. Most of them are no longer in these forums -they've moved on- and actually that could explain why there has been fewer people here lately and why there're more people than usual really happy to buy everything Bioware releases.
And NO, obviously I won't buy this DLC. Bioware has proved in this last year it's no longer capable of writting something decent or/and doesn't care of game quality anymore.
