Not exactly anything major. But thought about this for a while now, and because "Citadel" is coming out. But has anyone thought about this?
You leave Earth in Mass Effect 3 to gain armies etc, to help defeat the Reapers. Yet doesn't it seem a bit ironic, that you are in a hurry really to save Earth, but yet you are able to freely wander the Citadel, go to clubs for a drink, do side missions etc, whilst people are suffering on Earth? Lol.
Also. I've never really understood the point of gaining armies and races to help attack the Reapers, when in theory, they could never really be destroyed anyway. So what was the point in all those attack ships at the end? I know it bought you time, but even so.

Seeing as it takes months, and there is likely going to be points where the special forces teams are waitign for the next mission.

Shepard is a special operative for special missions, not crowd control. Push someone hard for months on end and tey will break and wont be nearly as efficient when you truly need them.

That's what I thought. Things take time. What about the ending though. With all the ships attacking the Reapers? They couldn't really be defeated in "conventional" means.

"Shepard, the Collectors are abducting humans, stop them!"

"Wait, wait, I need to take out this Blue Suns Base, take out this Blood Pack base, stop crazy mechs and shut down the virus, stop this crashing ship, one of my members wants my help finding his father, another one her sister, a third his son. Gotta help two of them take revenge, rescue a former team member, etc...."

"Shepard, stop Saren!"

"Wait, I gotta take out these crime lords, disable a nuke, find Kahoku's squad, find Wrex's armor, talk a big stupid jellyfish into buying a permit, etc..."

I think Asch Lavigne pretty much nailed it.

If you think doing those things doesn't seem sensible for Shepard then just don't do them! I thought that when I first played ME1 and ended up doing several playthroughs where I did barely any of the sidequests as a result.

The "conspiracy" will be something that it makes sense for Shepard to investigate (hopefully). After that you can go back to the casino or get crap for your apartment BUT YOU DON'T HAVE TO!
