i once changed a soldier in me1 to vanguard for me2 + 3, i head cannoned his "upgrades" gave him the vanguards abilities.

and maybe he got brain damage from hitting a planet and forgot how to use assault and sniper rifles

i tried the rest but focused on a specfic class for each ME.

The infiltrator class is treated well in each game of the series and I think you can take on the hardest difficulty levels as an Infiltrator in each. Any game I've played with classes does not treat each equally, whether by flaw in crunching the stats, game designer biase, or whatever. If you plan on having the same character throughout the series, I think Infiltrator is not to be missed.

I did switch classes one time.....from infiltrator to adept. ME1 > ME2

I have done 2 playthroughs with each class except Infiltrator (working on a second as that now).

My favorite playthrough was as an Engineer, although that was mostly for the RP choices I made (started out as an ice queen picking the neutral route, and steadily became more and more Paragon). For gameplay, I think my favorite is Adept (even with the extreme nerfing from ME1 to ME2).

My first playthrough was as an Infiltrator, and if my class doesn't have access to Sniper Rifles I almost always take that as the bonus power in ME1.

In my last playthrough (before my current one) I started as a Vanguard, switched to Soldier (with Reave) in ME2, and then to Sentinel for ME3. I dislike the Charge/Nova playstyle, and basically played this one with an Assault Rifle and a couple of biotic powers throughout.

The first class I played was adept... I thought it would be an easy one to start with then I proceeded to die... A lot, close combat was more my thing.
So my favorite class, the one I use most and the one my ultimate "canon" playthrough uses (or is using rather) would be vanguard.

Only played Soldier and Sentinel in 1. Played everything in ME2. In ME3, I've still only played Soldier, but that'll probably change after the Citadel DLC comes out.

My first, first playthrough was an infiltrator. It was kind of my go-to, since I didn't really enjoy biotics in 1. For some reason (I think it was surprise at being able to swap classes, tbh), I swapped my first girl to a vanguard in 2. And regretted nothing.

In pretty much any game, I like being melee. I like taking as many hits as possible to keep them off my squishy team, and while mass effect doesn't have straight up tanks, a fast moving vanguard can come pretty close.

Plus, in Mass Effect 3, vanguards are dark chocolate with chiles, black coffee, and a shot of really good scotch all combined. Uh. In a good way.

I've played Adept, Soldier, Vanguard and Infiltrator. Mostly soldier though. I only played adept and infiltrator while working my way up the ME2 difficulties(a very long time ago.);

Broshep- Vanguard in ME1, switched to adept for ME2, back to vanguard in ME3. I loved the "biotic warrior" of ME1. I didn't care much for the charge-spam of ME2. Shockwave suddenly being good/more combos did wonders for playing the vanguard as an actual biotic in ME3, instead of a charge-bot.

I prefer not to play biotic classes since Shepard doesn't use biotics in the cutscenes anyway (as far as I know)

I've got 3 sheps on PS3- 2 infiltrators, 1 vanguard.

5 sheps on 360- 1 soldier, 3 infiltrators, 1 sentinel.

I've changed classes in a playthrough. I'm doing that right now. Changed from infiltrator to vanguard in ME3.


My first class was soldier.

My favorite class is infiltrator.

It's the best class for me in terms of tackling ME2 and ME3 on insantity. Plus, I love sniper rifles.

Tactical cloak level 6, plus Black Widow 5, plus disruptor ammo 6, plus energy drain is one of the most powerful and lethal combos in the game. But you have to be able to shoot. I play a lot of shooters, so for me Infiltrator fits my skill set.



However, I have a guilty pleasure in vanguard, lol.

Sentinel is my Fav,Solider was the first.

I have already made a run through All games with every class as well.
