RtO has been randomly appearing as 'available' for various people since the 5th. Others on these very forums comment on it almost daily....so everyone take a deep breath before making too many giant leaps of 'logic'

Right!!! Then this is maybe my fault then for not checking forum. hmm...good point, thanks for pointing.

Nah, I was directing this at the people already assuming that since it was listed as available to you, the actual release is imminent.   As i stated before, there should be no reason to check a form before buying a product that a company tells you is available.  You did nothing wrong at all.

I think he meant for us, the rest who don't get that same option as you, not to start creating expectatives that the DLC will be out withing hours only because some people have had it showing as available for them.

I still believe that you have not lost your points and as soon as the final DLC version is out you'd resume d/l'ing it. Wouldn't hurt ask a more certified response but I wouldn't call it wishful thinking either. The game client and all the registration/redeeming codes process and any interaction with the server has been working very well for me.

It's really not. You can't be expected to come to a website and check on all available updates prior to making a purchase. In-game, it was marketed to you as available. It's that simple; you bought a product under false pretences and were mislead by the seller. You've grounds for compensation.

LOLs, seems their server is kinda mess up then. The screenshot I updated should explain most of the stuff though, if there are ppl still wondering. Anyway, hope it's only an client end error.

I just played the game and see the RTO DLC available in the downloadable content option. I bought it, and redeem the points and started download it. However, the download get stucked so I restart my game.  After I reenter the game, I see that in downloadable content it appears that I didn't buy the DLC and my points are gone as well. I just want to know what had happened. Can anyone help me with this?

You could try posting on the points.bioware.com Site Help forum, or contact customer support.  I would expect that they could either make sure that Return to Ostagar is associated with your account so you can download it when it's released, or they can refund the points.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have already posted a thread on the support site when I was really pissed and now I kinda wanna go back to edit that thread XD. The whole thing just getting funny since I realize this showing up of DLC may merely be an error.

I think it was all a clever plot by Georg Zoeller to steal $5.    Right now he is buying donuts for the design team. :D

LOLs, I hope there's something to keep them up for so late, as a whole team.

Do a little research on the net, is all I have to say. I'm a legit user and have 1040 bioware points to spend, bought every available add-on so I'll choose not to play it this way. Ask Bioware how is this possible (to find a DLC which hasn't been officially released).

grey047 I think I know what you did to get this screen.

Perhaps you shouldn't have bought it right away? perhaps you should have read the announcement before you tried to get it. Though you've bought the addon that means you can download it once it's actually out.

Are you serious??? Is my sarcasm detector off or something? You are blaming the customer for BW making it available for people to buy but can't buy since it isn't out? It is the consumers fault that they can't get thier stuff together to oh I dunno update the main page or make sure there is no way for this to happen? That every consumer who is intent on buying it check the forums first? What a joke.

Here's the screenshot that I made after buying this DLC. No screenshot has been taken ahead because never thought about going wrong on this before. Should've consider more on it.

I did almost the exact same thing. After not playing for a couple of weeks, I remembered the Jan 5 release date, quickly checked the RtO page (The main RtO page linked from the "Features" slideshow", which doesn't say it's not available yet...just says $5),  bought the points for it, and then found out the release date had been pushed back. It wasn't in the available section the next time I logged in the game.

I agree with Sloth, that people shouldn't have to read through the forums to find out if a release that looks ready to go has been cancelled, but that being said, I still have the 400 points, and can get RtO as soon as it's ready, so no huge deal. Bioware should probably put the announcement of the delay on the website though.

By all means, enlighten us oh pure one!

I hope you have noticed the screenie shows the DLC on "Available Content" tab and not on "Installed Content". As far as I know there is no way to have it showing just like that unless it is legit. Yeah, I am implying that you are implying that he did not make the same choice as you.

I am also inclined to agree with OP and Sloth, the information should be shown in that little HTML thingy (Sorry I can't think of the word atm) on the button of the autoplay loadup screen of the game that is currently advertising wardens keep. I am not saying BioWare is a bad company, and they have only juse started making this game, but perhaps that would have been a good idea?

I just hope they decide to fix RtO before releasing it, but it is likely they will because they have already started.

Alas, I have faith in you BioWare!

Edit: Made A Mistake, Sorry <3

At no point have they said it was game breaking, they have merely stated that it would affect gameplay experience.

This could mean it lags a lot, or a certain codex entry doesn't appear, or in some very strange cases your race and gender make people say random things they aren't supposed to. Now that may not sound really important to fix, because it wouldn't happen often, but even if it isn't game breaking I say good on them for fixing it so that everyone can have the best gameplay experience, instead of most people getting the best and a few getting a lesser gameplay experience.

No matter what type of Glitch it is, good on you BioWare, Oneday I want to join your esteemed ranks.

Save your irony for others. I won't enlighten you. If you are curious enough, you can search about it and try. I was curious but decided to play this DLC when it's going to be offically released. You didn't get my point.

Not "fake" (ie, a random music video zipped up and renamed as PhotoShop7Install.exe or something).
