according to the main page www.bioware.com it appears that rto is coming out on the 11th....which is today

I imagine if it was available this thread would be exploding already, but can anyone confirm? Not at my home computer and I don't want to buy points if there's still no ETA. But the Bioware site does now list it as Jan 11...

Well, it's there on my available list for the first time ever. I just booted up DA:O. I bought it, maybe it'll download. :D

Edit: Weird, it's showing The Stone Prisoner there too. :huh:

Nah, that [Jan 11] on the main BioWare page just means that the note advertising Return to Ostagar was added to the main BioWare page today.

The Dragon Age add-on page still says "Available this Holiday Season", and the Return to Ostagar page which used to say January 5, 2010 still has no date listed, and no "Now Available'" message.

No, that's not the DLC release date. It's the date the web has been updated with the news entry. Under that one you will also see a "[Jan 11] Fight for the Lost" entry.

I think that date just means when the notice was posted/updated - not when it's coming out. I mean, it's already 4:30 pm Pacific time in the US and Canada (EA is based in California), and 5:30 pm in Alberta (Bioware). Sort of late in the day.

I opened the game, clicked on Downloadable Content, and Return to Ostagar was in the Available list.

What? Cancelling plans for Dragon Age? :lol: I didn't have anything legendary lined up... was just gonna go hang out with the same people I see every damn day. They'll still be there tomorrow ;)

That we know of. Doesn't mean more couldn't have gotten it working and in their excitement forgot to tell the rest of us. Or that one person may not have gotten it working after all. Or it could be an unofficial copy. Anything is possible really at this point. I just don't think anyone should get their hopes up for a release tomorrow.

I'll probably fire up DA when I get home and see if it is listed, just to check. I guess it's just coincidence but seeing people's profiles with the achievement, and the mysterious nature of that update, and the seeming changes to the RtO page itself... a boy can dream.
