I'm absolutely disappointed by the lack of Salarians, but I'm not going to write this down again.

Well, what reason is there to not make a day #1 fan request that has been literally begged for for a year now? Evidently they had time for lots and lots of completely new designs like the Earth DLC kits, so "no time" isn't a valid excuse.
Excuse me if a bit hyperbole is hurting feelings.
It wasn't really a #1 request. It doesn't really matter what the excuse is, since we didn't get it Salarian lovers are not going to accept pretty much any reason as to why it didn't happen.
This is a side effect of adding requests from your fans. You aren't going to be able to do all of them, and the people who didn't have their request added are going to be upset and ask why theirs wasn't added while somebody else's was.
You're going to have to work a lot harder than that to hurt my feelings. I was pointing out that you're being a bit silly right now.

What is the Fan requested Salarian kit?
Isn't it just Mordin clone?
I'd prefer a Salarian Soldier as a shout out to

Tazzik!!!
That was my dearest wish. Salarians would do for great soldier kits and Sentinels are another class where Salarians could truly find themselves a place with their technological ingenuity.
Alas, BioWare stance is "nope".

Have you people forgotten that after the last DLC they started adding more characters once a week after the initial new ones that came with the DLC. It could happen again so i well continue to still hold my breath.
6 chars was pretty much set in stone during the stream

Hates? Did I visit the World of MassEffectCraft forum by mistake again??
Unless people start saying that BioWare hates an entire faction because the other faction got a bridge, we're nowhere near as bad as the WoW forums.
I want to be joking about that, I really do.
I'd even take being able to say that the people complaining about that were joking, honestly.

Fact is that there are so many kits - I think engineer and infiltrator suit the lore probably the best. I can't imagine a salarian soldier meleeing everything, or a vanguard. Maybe a sentinel

It was very much a day #1 fan favourite for new kits. Or should I write "day one fan favourite", as apparently my numerical writing is confusing some people as to what I meant.
And no, I think BioWare is in fact a bit silly seing how the Batarians who are anigligible power at best are represented doubled as much compared to one of the most advanced official council powers.

Sadly I am not joking. I am really, really disappointed. Salarians are one of my favourites and seeing them go underrepresented in what hindsight makes virtually the entire series so far is just sad.

A shame we won't see it, and that there is no new content after this for MP, so there is no chance to fix the 2 trick pony Salarian presence.

The new characters are awesome and I'll have fun, especially since my dream came true for the Collectors, but I really feel for the Salarian situation.

Said again, Salarian Soldier and another Salarian Engineer with different powers (Doubled up on Engineer class like Asari double up on Adept).
Salarians are space geeks. Maybe too much looking in the mirror with them if they were left out by Bioware?

I was too optimistic! Ugh, would have been exciting to finally roll with a new Salarian..
And yes, Mordin made me appreciate the species too.
At least there are TWO kits I can still enjoy.
The DLC looks awesome.

It wasn't even a day 1 request. At best it was requested after the first DLC, but nobody was really requesting more of the vanilla species for the very first DLC(except male Quarians).
Lore has very little to do with the number of each species we've gotten. That entire argument is just silly =P

I think the thread title is strongly worded nonsense, but I agree that we should have had more Salarian kits, we're talking a council founding race, not one of the johnny-come-latelys.

I'd like to see the stats of people who actually chose to have the genophage cured. If it's really high enough, it makes sense for the Salarians with the exception of the STG not to be present to help the Alliance.

A second engineer (like the asari have 2 adepts), a sentinel, possibly even a soldier.
Oh well...
The Paladin could have been Salarian, since it's a tech based Sentinel.
Also, Soldier and an elite Engineer (like the asari justicar yeah).

But I guess that's hard to understand from the perspective of a teenager.

Heck, it could be soldier, salarian AND sentinel. But a Sentinel with tech powers.
