Youre not getting my point. Its clear theres things youre not happy about with it.
Theres things im not happy about with it.
All im saying is although may make u feel better voicing your complaints in reality it wont get you anywhere.
So all im saying is not to stress out about it, you'll just burst a blood vessel or something.
Chill abit
Again, you make the mistake that we're all bursting out into rage for no apparent reason. Bioware have said they won't do another MP DLC, this is the last one, but that doesn't mean that it's in vain.
I'm well aware we won't see more Salarians added into ME3 MP, but I'm still here. We're still whining for the same reason that we all stood up and argued over the SP ending when they adamantly said they weren't changing it. It's not about now, it's about tomorrow. Currently, Bioware have had to deal with a PR ****storm around their shoddy work on their part. Next time someone gets up at the development session to suggest something for a new ending (for example ME4), they'll think twice about what the hell they're saying, as they know that we won't like it if they screw us over again.
The same can be applied here. If a lot of people express outrage and disappointment that they imbalanced the racial-class count and left certain races completely for over a year, chances are that they won't do it again without sitting down and REALLY thinking about it. Yes, it doesn't help our situation now, but later it will sure as hell sort a few things out. Picture if we sat down and accepted the endings for what they are, what does that show of us? Other than that we're perfectly fine having rubbish thrown at us and it being called a quality product, instead our actions closed that avenue of practice, making developers think twice before they do something similar.
Because lets be realistic, Bioware, and all game developers at that, wouldn't give a rat's behind about our opinions if we didn't raise our voices about things. Hell, Call of Duty would still have Last Stand and Deathstreaks if people didn't burst a couple of arteries making their point.
I see your point. yeah we all complained about the SP ending and demanded a alt ending... did we get one??? No we got a more detailed ending. Thats what some wanted and not others.
Im not saying dont express your disapointment or whatever (Im disapointed too) Im just saying there are alot of possitives too (which we also discuss on this site too?) I agree in a sense its constructive feedback and might help with future releases. But the point Im trying to make is dont work yaselves up over it.
For doing that im getting hate replies. Seriously? Cant help that I think even though this DLC has some flaws that I choose to see the good in it. If that offends anyone I apologise. Just trying to get everyone to enjoy themselves abit.
Thats about all. Anyway peace...
I can agree with that. In the end, it doesn't matter what you say, as long as it's criticism. I understand your point of view, I admit, if they made less Batarians, I probably wouldn't make such a fuss, but as I said, it's sad that a big group of fans were forgotten, and we never got our scientist Salarian who hums Gilbert and Sullivan while performing objectives.
Everyone's entitled to a point of view, but personally I feel that Bioware should have addressed the concerns of the community before going out on a limb. I won't lie, I like the Talon, very much so (he's basically Hawkeye with a crossbow and a gas mask), but it would have been nicer to see them add other content that was requested first before adding things like that. A nice suprise every DLC or so isn't bad, but it should never get in the way of the demand of content from the playerbase.
PS: @Kheldorin: You seriously think that Bioware will try and pull something like the ending again? They were literally the laughing stock of the entire gaming industry for that stunt. They won't make such a step so lightly next time, as they know what the potential outcome is.
Best analogy I can give: When I was a kid, I used to play tag in a large field. To the western side was a large ridge, with maybe a meter of walkable terrain, a fence-wall on one side and a large, 10 metre down, 30 degree slope on the other, literally covered in stinging nettles all the way down. One day as I was being chased I ended up losing my footing and falling down this slope, getting stuck halfway in a sea of stinging nettles. It was nearly half an hour later before my cousin managed to get down the slope and get me out of the bush. I was covered in stings and it took nearly two days before the marks went away. After that, whenever I played tag at the field, I would always take caution when taking the upper ridge. I will never again run there without thinking about that moment and considering the risk. Bioware are in the same position. They won't tread on the same ground without thinking about what their doing and the implications first, at least for the next few years.
