First of all, it's not true.
And if people do use the Claymore, it's because they like the gun, not because it's the best option available.
The Harrier, Talon or Acolyte work on every single class and one of them is always the best option, but nobody complains about those ...

All this complaining about people using the Claymore on everything is stupid.

My guess would be because those guns aren't shoved down people's throats all the time.
Hell, i can summarize most of the "I need a X build, please give some tips"
Response: Put a claymore on it.

Anyway, the Reegar is nowhere near as badly broken as the Claymore. The claymore can be used to great effect on every character. The Reegar is much more limited.
Seriously? Melting everything with no chance of missing and relatively low weight is much more limited how exactly?
I'm pretty amazed at all the people considering the Claymore a crutch. Sure, it's a great weapon, but due to the fact that it is still a one-shot gun, it does carry a certain amount of risk whenever you actually miss that shot up close or miss your reload cancel (even if it very rarely happens with a little bit of practice). It's not like you have to a demi-god at aiming in order to make good use of the Claymore, but it still carries a somewhat higher risk than a lot of the other high tier weapons
Especially compared to a Reegar, Talon and Harrier which are a lot more forgiving, while outputting similar if not superior damage.

Claymore is also not super efficient on her. You have to reload after every shot.
No you don't. And you'd know it you watched the video.
No matter the class, you can play an entire game without reloading even once.
Its still a reload feneckus

Because Claymoar is a crutch.
claymore is a crutch... It's way easier to use then the reegar..
Feneckus I hate to say it, but you are horrible at this game and in life..
P.s. did I mention reegar carbine is better and takes more skill?

But I think I'm gonna pack a claymore from tomorrow. Shotgun ULM ftw
What if ULM takes the same slot as smart choke?
I tried this, and while it was very powerful, I prefer to keep ~150% cooldown on the Fury for more explosions (yes I know about power reset on Throw 5 but Throw missing at point blank can be fatal).

Throw's cooldown with standard Fury build + Acolyte X and Hurricane V : 1.44s
You can have a Claymore and spam biotic explosions just as well.

Throw detonate and recharge instead of the other way around, hm? Interesting. Probably should have watched first before responding to other posters.
I used this build when I tried a Claymore Fury, leaving much more to chance. Throw passing straight through enemies at point blank is much more annoying if you have to rely on a BE to reset the cooldown. <_<

2. I also don't how I would spec for that
Here's the basic jist of it.
You definitely need DC to prime targets outside AF range for the extra weapon damage. Fitness is for noobs anyway
DC? Nope. Never needed it.
Fitness keeps me alive off host anyway.
