Why? I thought the DLC had nothing to do with the ending? The legends save is created for pre Cronos play. There should be hardly any end info in it other than what was chosen, which is Destory in MEHEM's case.

Oh. If the changes to saves are made after Cronos, it should be much less likely. I haven't used teh MEHEM, so didn't know where it reads/changes the data.

Overall, people who have altered their games via modding alays run a risk something may not work in a new DLC, but it does sound like that is a low risk here.

Yep, itss big scret is just redirecting the path the end sequences take and adding some extra goodies(Honestly, no Harbringer quotes by default?)

I hope staff members aren't getting a skewed perspective of why the endings upset people based on people shilling MEHEM like they do. There are a half-dozen or so solid, simple, genuine reasons why the ending was a failure to a great deal of people, but a lot of what I see on the forum is just nonsense.

The citadel gets blown up in all of the endings, your apartment is on the citadel i believe?

Post-Destroy Shepard is on the Citadel.

Yeah, post evidence that he does survive in non-High destroy and that he is in the Citadel
that, BTW, is destryed so Shep would be still in open space

Give me current Destroy with the MEHEM reunion and I'm happily placated(This does not mean I find the ending to be a work of art). That litterally changes nothing with destroy and really should have been like that from day 1.

That's all MEHEM really gives, an actual extended breath scene. Everything thing else is addons that you decide yourself.

Chris, some people have said that this kind of attitude works in movies, but not when you are actually playing the game, because we are Shepard, therefore Shepard does in a way know. Can you silence that question once and for all?

If you're an actual roleplayer Shepard doesn't know. Get into your Sheprds head, Shepard doesn't know therefore you don't know.

You do know that guy has ONLY played ME 3, right?

how is that relevant?

How about we stop pointlessly arguing about an issue that we all know has no evidence either way?

Yes, how dare bioware give us the option to own property on the citadel or not and give us the choice to decorate it. Why give us so many choices in this rpg? They should just make a dlc with the least amount of choices, and it all about fighting against an enemy with no time for characters or interaction.

Oh wait, that's omega.

The Citadel does not get blown up.

It's pretty damaged, but your apartment has a better chance of being A-okay than destroyed.

Chris: Please tell us. Are there a ton of mini-games in this casino? Please, pretty please? Like poker, black jack, "armali hold'em" (lol), roulette, craps, how about a pool table, bowling? Can we teach Shepard to dance in the club section? Is there a place we can sell stuff? Can we get drunk in there? And these are infinitely repeatable.

And the pad? I want this place nice. <3

If this stuff is in there TAKE MY MONEY. Yes, even Ms. Grumpy Pants here will buy.

I'm thinking... This place should be like i can pop in the disk and spend the evening wasting time while the galaxy burns. :o Party!!!! :o

Blown up suggests something like this to me:

Death Star being turned into piece with nothing left. Not this where you can CLEARELY see that majority of the stationn was left undamaged:

Hey, you can even see lights in many of the flats in towers lol!

Yeah, just as the giant explosion that was suppoused to kill him - tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ExplosionsInSpace it's a space opera, not science magazine

The real question is why does Shepard need an apartment? I barely visit her cabin on the ship.

And this is where you miss the point. Take the story that dissapointed you the most. Would you see another part set in the middle, knowing that at the end it goes to hell in the bad way? Add to that that a game requires much more involvement than literature or movies/TV. By your own admission, all many are going to get from this DLC is a further twist of the knife. No thanks. I´ll save the money for the World of Thedas book.

For BW´s sake I hope we are indeed the vocal minority (although it doesn´t look so), becuase otherwise the notME4 team is in for a bad thing.

Yes. And that's a problem, for several reasons.

First, and most simply, is that the implication is that the biggest problem with the endings is the lack of a happy conclusion. And that isn't true.

The second problem is an offshoot of that. It basically makes fans look bad. Because if the biggest problem is the lack of a happy ending, it tends to demonstate that they're just shallow crybabies who can't handle a mature ending. That's complete nonsense, of course - fans have a valid reason to be upset, although few of them understand those reasons. But the implication is there.

Non-high Destroy? You mean below 3100 EMS? Yes, he's dead. Confirmed by plaque.

And saying Shepard is on Earth without any real evidence supporting such is stupid. The last place we see him is on the Citadel, and the rubble around Shepard could easily be from the damage that the Citadel took.

You're just saying he's on Earth for the sake of the "the ending doesn't make sense" argument.

Well if it does get blown up, I hope Shep has renter's insurance. Well in this case maybe Garrus can share the place with her (they are together) and Garrus can claim the money. Oh man, why isn't it an apartment where your LI can live too? That would be great if they went there every time you went to the Citadel. I mean aside from the first quarter of the game Garrus and Liara for the whole game are the only LIs that are regularly on the Citadel. Them being in the apartment you share would be a nice little touch.

If teh apartment does get blown up maybe they'll rebuild it and turn it into a tourist attraction. I know there are no changes to the ending but I'd love to see a slide that shows that.

Do we get the apartment automatically or do I need to horde my credits? Is it rent controlled?

No, i mean below 100.000, an army of multiplayer characters behind you and still you can't win, ****
If you had read my post you would see how i told it doesn't make sense in both situations :o
