Hello, fellow BSNers. It's been a good last week for the gaming community as we just had an official annoucement of the next consoles generation from Sony. Lots of fun incoming.

And more exciting, if you ask me, is tomorrow's Reckoning release. It will make a couple of my dreams come true: a prothean and a shotgun-oriented infiltrator, that also happens to be a sexy sexbot for our eyes and darkest metalic desires' delightment.

There is indeed a little bit of dissapointment and sadness at seeing no new maps, enemies, or salarian kits, but so deep in the MP's life-span I didn't expect much anyways.

As I've stated before, I'm in no hurry with this last piece of DLC as I want to enjoy it as much and as long as possible, but there are a couple things I've been wanting to ask for a while.

Here is my current inventory. As you can see, I'm having trouble maxing out my uncommon gear, which I find quite strange. I thought I had to buy veteran packs for this purpose and so I have been doing, but all I get from them are rail amps and ammo powers. I also have spent endless credits on spectre packs but still they won't drop.

And as strange as it seems, my uncommon weapon mods are complete now, but the rare ones just refuse to drop.

What do you recommend?

I would like to have a maxed inventory (excluding URs) as soon as possible to maximize my chances of getting stuff from the new DLC, but this just seems to be taking forever.

Now, I'm not very an experienced player when it comes to shotguns, I don't know how to properly use them or what mods work better with each. So far I've just tried the Pirahna, the lolReegar, and the GPS, but with the latter and the rest of them I just don't seem to get it right. For example, I don't know why people say AP mods don't go with the GPS, or what shotguns does the smart choke works better on. Please some advice?

I'm at work right now and can't watch the videostream atm (just saw fragments) but I think I didn't see the prothean in action. If I remember right I just saw the geth, the krogan, the merc, and ED's clone. Did I miss it? :crying:

There you go.  Drop rate was always a bit silly for gear for me.  For me, it felt like I got Rare weapons a lot more than Uncommon gears (even when they were mostly maxed).

If your goal is to get as many DLC items as possible, trying to max out other items before the DLC drops is counter-productive. On average, for any given amount of packs bought, you will unlock more DLC content by buying post-DLC drop than pre-DLC drop.

Delete all the old dlc's. Everything is stored server-side, so you won't lose any of your unlocks. Blow all your credits. Get new stuff. Re-download old dlc after, or you won't be able to find any lobbies. Play game with new stuff. Enjoy!

So I'm not the only one with that feeling. Oh well, thank you.
