Notice the abscence of long, unesscessary openings for me.

The Lancer.

What I think it will be statted like:
1.25-.8 weight. (Based on PPR/Typoon weight ratios applied to the harrier.)
20-30 rounds in magazine.
400-500 RPM.
In clip DPS: 850-1050DPS.
Reload: PPR Reload of shame.
Headshot multiplier: Average.
Recoil: Generic FPS AK Style, Slow, up, and managable.
Accuracy: Less then avenger, more then Typhoon per bullet.

What will it be good for?
Stripping shields quickly and finishing a target with a single, target flinging power.
Headshoting single targets dead, likely to run short when it comes to multi-headhunting due to increased recoil over the avenger.
Serving as a weapon for power users with minimal interruptions.

What it will suck at?
Fighting and killing multiple targets in a short period.
Long range combat, due to limited capacity, and recoil.... If you do not want to sacrifice great tracts of combat efficiency.

How would it be used ideally?
Phasic rounds, Disruptor rounds, and something that an flings helpless targets quickly.
EB/AP+EM.
Forget killing things with gunfire, that takes too much clip capacity. Strip the shields and throw/singularity/cluster grenade/lift. This thing will likely power up biotics considerably when used this way. Tech users have little to gain, as do dedicated combatants.

How does this fare for the avenger?
Admittedly.
The avenger fits a specific niche perfectly. Light weight, primary weapon sustained fire.
Its one we never wanted, never will need, and definately not something we asked for.
Sustainable fire on lightweight weapons counteracts the point of the sustainability, and the lightweightedness due to ME3 mechanics.

One or the other would need to go for a "Truely" useful avenger to emerge (Without making a second locust headshot machine,) and that is what the Lancer is doing. In a roundabout way that beats the purpose of having a decent avenger.

Im sure the avenger would be more appreciable if ammo was scarce, due to its.... Efficiency in landing shots. This game is too actiony for slowly landing shots over a long period of time to be a valid tactic, almost universally. So a good avenger.... Isn't coming this game.

- This will clearly be the main point of the thread. The rest is a thin, incomplete viel to make it more general in purpose.

The Venom:
What I expect:
The love child of the crusaider and the falcon.
Its disruptively distructive nature from SP is... Seemingly absent from the trailer.
Imagine a low radius, high damage falcon that is a weak cluster bomb on missed shots instead of overpowered, like people said when the SP version was released.

Ideal loadouts: How do you use explosives? That.
I have writers fatigue, shaddup.

The Adas:
What I expect:
The devs seemed to use it in their livestream by.... Not using it, or finishing off single targets.

It may already be heavily pre-nerfed.

The Suppressor:
Bioware wants to overpower Jay.

Bloodpack weapons:
Look. You guys use AP ammo like candy already.
This just makes saving it easier....
Not like you need it.

All in all. I think all of them will be fantastic.... I just think that they will demand more specialized, and less generalist tactics (If your name doesn't include bloodpack.) I will update to make this less lancer specific....

But.... I don't feel like typing for once.
