The edi clone, yet another OP infiltrator

Never.
Again.
You might "need" them. I certainly don't.

Nah, it's BioWare's way of buffing the scimitar, katana and disciple.

Not just "more". 10 times more. You can go down 5 friggin' times PER WAVE. This is not a matter of doing 10% more dmage, or being able to see through walls. This changes the dynamics of the game completely. Maybe intentional, maybe not. Now I am not saying that anything should be nerfed, I am simply stating that the impact of this ability can barely be overestimated

I don't even get why people care. You want a great kit? There you go. Don't look a gift horse in the mouth.
It is not this kit that is the problem. Its all the old school kits that can actually die I am worried about. If immortallity was the baseline than this particular brand would cause no issues, as it stands it is not and hence this kit will be a major game changer. For good or for bad depending on your outlook.

who is even better then him in almost every way.
.......ok i admit, those 3 are broken <_<
Maybe I´m wrong, but I have seen "unkillable"Krogan was killed by little Geth Bomber.
Or invincible Juggernaut had problems with single Gold Atlas. Now try to imagine those kits solo on Platinum.

The average person would still see this as pro-nerf talk. I just see this as an excuse for reckless behavior, which is counterproductive. Especially if said reckless behavior gets you sync-killed.KalilKareem wrote...

Somewhat how I feel. Not sure if it will be a huge gamechanger, but I can see her becoming very popular. Granted, for many players this will change very little. They'll just go down a lot, and seeing as I PuG often it will save me from have to revive my decoys. Still, I can see this becoming a crutch. Expect an EDI-bot in every. single. lobby.
I'm cool with it, just a little mind-boggled. In the hands of a good player, this is effective invicibility. It's kind of hilarious.

It's one thing that tac cloak is awesome, but they just get AMAZING other powers as well. I do NOT want the sexbot being the next geth inf/ghost.

Thats s why I try to stear clear of "average" personsSure it is possible to get yourself sync killed. But now imagine for a second that the EDI player is not retarded. That he is chilling around in the back (in close proximity of a ammo crate) sniping with a claymore using a smart choke and a heavy barrel. If he/she/ot goes down he/she/ot just pops up again and proceeds to carnage. If stuff gets hairy, cloak and run to the next ammo crate. How does this not trivialize the game?
I see your point, but wouldn't they have to use the power first before being able to get themselves back up anyway (you can't really use your powers when you're dead)? There's still the probability that they may not have the reaction time to activate said power (though they could just use it in a panic). And what if they run out of medi-gel when that happens? I dunno. I'm just talking hypothetically, but there's always that possibility.

And if you were fighting against them, that might be a problem.
Also, really? If they dominate, where are they? I've been playing fairly regularly lately, and I see a good balance of everything. I don't see nearly as many Infiltrators as I used to, not even close. Is it just me? If they're as ruinous to the non competitive environment as the hopelessly clueless seem say, then why isn't every game packed with two or three of them?

As do I. People use the term "crutch" but there really is no such thing. Those "crutch classes/weapons" only appear so when good players use them.

There are plenty of other non-infiltrator kits that are very powerful. Yes infiltrators have some powerful abilities, but they are not alone in this. I can't help but thinking that people are complaining purely because they don't like certain classes and they just want to **** all over other peoples fun.

Activate Repair Matrix, it lasts for 22 seconds. Constantly restores shields during that time, and that alone makes her fairly tanky with her natural high shields. If you go down during those 22 seconds, you are auto-revived. When you are revived, the Matrix is deactivated. At this point you can, if you choose, immediately activate another Matrix provided you have the supply/nades. Or you could cloak/run... whatever.
The Matrix has a timer, but it only requires that you activate it before going down in order to auto-revive That will be about as difficult as activating a Stim Pack before you can be downed. Which is to say... not at all. With capacity gear, it will not be the least bit difficult to ensure that you always have a handy supply.
She turns thermal clip packs into medi-gels. Admittedly that's pretty cool.
