Although, EDIbot does seem like a dominating infiltrator. She/it will almost make Piranha/GI obsolete.

OMG, you are so kewl. Tell me, with your grand total of 13 gold extractions, how are you in any way qualified to judge the general state of gold PUGs? Sorry, blanket statements like this tick me off.Rebel_Raven wrote...
I pity the person that has to use the AIU's repair matrix enough to be considered broken. That's a hell of a lot of deaths and probably carrying of people that can't support the player.
So, in general, most anyone doing gold pugs. >.>
As for the sexbot, I'll reserve the judgement till I play her. Still TC shotgun cloak synergy most probably means Reegar w/inci ammo = lolpwn. I see nothing wrong with that.

Yeah it has been disucssed with video evidence to back it up, rofl. Inf's are super strong, even the supposedly broken kit one, and this one will be no different.
Though these units represent the late game elite, this one has defenses just as strong as offense, which is no small feat by any standard.
Cooldown control and super debuff stacked on top of each other are strong by definition.
BW may want more players to survive platinum and get those manifests maxed as the game winds down, and I don't have a problem with that, but you can see from the abilities and livestream just exactly how buff this character is even with sample usage. Stating anything else is simply denial; no more, no less.

Good on you if you had better luck in gold pugs!
But it doesn't change the fact that I played gold pugs a lot -before- the challenges (which you obviously hadn't considedred, it seems.) and it was rare that people were using medigels when downed, or used missiles in a pinch back then.
I started playing gold again recently, and things really hadn't changed. I was the last one alive a bit too often for my likings coz I medigelled if I were going to bleed out or get stomped. Nearly everyone else never medigelled, and almost no one missiled.
If I didn't have to end up carrying people (And I readily admit I can't carry all that well on gold.) I'd probably have more than 13 gold extractions as opposed to going to silver so I didn't have to put up with burning consumeables on pugs that don't seem to wanna see extraction.
inb4 l2p/other derrogatory remarks towards skill. <.<
P.S. I hope ya have fun with your character choices!

You played under 2 hundred gold waves since retaliation (that's six months) - you judging "most anyone" in gold pugs on that basis is, outright ridiculous, it's just not large enough a sample. Someone gotta take a stand for PUGs, you know, in this here place. In my experience, they have been far from terrible.Rebel_Raven wrote...

And without resorting to l2p, it's true that the better the player is, the better his/her PUGs go, funny that. Most people who condemn PUGs as worthless... the problem is not PUGs, it's those players.

Did anyone read the tool tip?
"Reinforce armor with metal-repelling Foucault currents to increase movement speed, decrease damage taken, and regenerate shields for a short duration. When activated, the fallen crusader instantly gets back on their feet. This can occur only once, and a limited number of charges can be carried for this power."
We do not even know what this can occur only once means. Once per match, once per grenade, once per huge internal cd on the grenade, who the hell knows. Does a limited number mean no grenade gear?
Play the kit, till then shut up.

How to word this?
First off, you're free to defend pugs all you like, but attacking me over my apparent bad luck? Bad form, frankly.
Again, I've played in many gold matches before retalliation, and some after. Things haven't changed. Rare pugs are good, but most aren't.
A good many people I've ran into in Gold don't gel, don't missile, don't use bonus gear, and generally seem to give up way too easy even if they do have bonus gear.
If they didn't act that way in many encounters I'd have not been so annoyed at gold that I found myself preferring silver for most of my games, and actually stuck to gold more.
I readily admit that I'm not good enough to carry 3 floundering squadmates on gold. It's not like I play TGI, or Krogards, or such. I usually stick to Asari, or FQs. (Mind you, I'm not saying it's impossible to solo with them!) Bluntly, I'm an impatient, stubborn person when it comes to some facets of the game, which helps lend to my aversion to willingly soloing. I recognize my flaws.
Regardless of my skill (And 'd like to think I'm not terrible!), I will claw, and scratch, and drag floundering squadmates as far as I can. I'll expend medigels, missiles, ops packs, thermal clips, use high lvl bonus gear, as needed, and generally be the best team player I can, but enough became enough. I've found silver has got greener pastures of more reliable squadmates, and a higher extraction rate with pugs.
The post you quoted about me feeling sorry about people having to abuse the AIU's repair matrix to the point of it being "broken" came from my experiences in unwillignly becoming the last person standing with a fair chunk of a wave gunning after me coz I decided I wanted to medigel, and try to see the next wave after my 3 other teammates decided to die, bleed out across the map, get stomped, get sync-killed, etc.
P.S. I also don't do gold much because I'm working on weapon challenges which aren't always gold friendly, and often I'm not all that used to a weapon. I'd rather not be a drag on my team while using weapons I'm not certain of.

Alas, I don't have friends who play ME3 on PC *insert forever alone*. Difficult to judge a player's skill based on information given. That said...despite not having too many problems with Collectors myself, finding a team able to defeat them is difficult.

Seriously? The ONLY unit I really have a problem with on Platinum is Banshees; generally because they flush me into something else or jump next to me when I'm merrily shooting away. Next platinum game I'm going Geth Jugganaut (assuming I unlock it tonight) ... grrrr!
As for the EDI clone and huge levels of OP... y'know, at this stage in the game, a year into it, I'm not sure I really care any more. We've already had a load of power-creep - I think we now just roflstomp the enemies into the floor before Shepard meets the spacekid and kills all our Geth and EDI-bots (aka EA/BW shut the servers down).

Shotgun TC would be awesome. I was sort of expecting it on a krogan however.
Same here. A Krogan Scout (Infiltrator) with a shotgun evo is what I was hoping for. Still, the AIU sounds like a fun character to play.
