take a deep breath bro. you about to have a stroke
It's a reaction to the borderline psychopathic hatred some on BSN have of Liara for reasons that never make any sense (such as "stalking"... mhm).

Why does she have to tell femshep about the salarian councilor? Can't someone else do that? Why can't she use the intercom.

Maybe locking in Shep to the romance from Mars if (s)he made the comment about blue babies during LotSB? Liara had a fairly well fleshed out romance during the game, but it was kind of jarring when I had to rebuild the relationship from scratch all of a sudden. Talk about marriage and I'm "a good friend" 6 months later. What the f*ck?
This. Very much this. While the romance was pretty good overall in ME3 the amount of occasions where you had to insist on a relationship on top of LotSB is pants on head retarded. It just makes it seem so forced and takes away a lot from the overall experience. Heck, I hear it's partly because of a broken flag from LotSB. It wouldn't be too much to ask that this be fixed, the result more gratifying then new content which will probably only consist of yet another effort to friendzone shepard...

-EDI is busy talking with the krogan about the wreak of the Reaper.
-Garrus and Joker are busy telling jokes and trying to get over Mordins death
-Steve is busy tending ot the shuttle
-Sam is busy corridating things with the korgan and turian, which is her job as a ocm officer.
-Would oyu trust Vega with something like this?
-Javik is Javik
That leaves Liara as the only person who can relay this information to Shepard the fastest as everyone else is busy and Liara is not busy at the time. Of course you would not give a crap if someone not Liara didi this. You only dislike it because it's Liara, scenes you can spacebar if you hate them so much. I spacebar all of Jacobs content in ME2 and ME3 and that guy was forced down my throat more then Liara was in ME3.

You do know Sam is talking with fleets right and getting numbers? She's a human, she get's distracted and makes a mistake the fleets numbers are then false and that's not good. EDI calling might have been good but the other reason Liara was up there was so Virmrie could be talked about. Liara and Garrus are the best to tlak about that event and since Garrus is taking a break chatting with Joker, it falls on Liara. If you really wnat a game or story where a character oyu dislike is ignored, it's never oging to happen. You are simply mad Miri not in the crew and your least fav character is and you can't kill her.Steelcan wrote...

Because the writers saw that Sam had barley any character, so they gave Liara's stuff to Sam so Bioware could have a reason for Sam being in the game. The original script had Liara giving Shepard Grimmson, ex-cerberus scientist and helping EDI find the Cerberbus base. This was never Sams role. Bioware like always decided to give a new character stuff that a past character did have and should have so they could justify this new characters existence.Gangnam Style wrote...

Um because Shepards nightmares, which you cleary can hear the voice of the person who died. It does not matter if you hated that character or not, Shepard gave an order that resulted in their death. This is going to haunt Shepard later, more so after Mordins death when again, Shepard was helpless to save friend/person they knew well(unless you killed Wrex, got Eve killed and Mordin is alive then ya, the Virmrie conversation and Virmire coming back to Shepard makes no sense.)Steelcan wrote...

I already know about skipping conversations except I use the square button on my controller not the spacebar.
And as you say its not rocket science.
