Since the release of the latest multiplayer content, SP is only missing five weapons:

Collector SMG (Retaliation DLC)
Collector Assault Rifle (Retaliation DLC)
Collector Sniper Rifle (Retaliation DLC)
M-7 Lancer (Reckoning DLC)
M-11 Suppressor (Reckoning DLC)

There is however one weapon missing from both SP & MP (M-597 Ladon), it is exclusive on the Wii U.

Since the Collectors aren't coming to single-player, I'm guessing that they're going to leave those three guns out. I definitely wouldn't bet against the other two showing up on the Citadel, though.

I think the Ladon is just a Hydra that uses the Wii U's touchpad to allow selecting specific targets (though I never read into it; that was just my assumption from the pre-release information). It's not something that would be usable on other platforms.

You know this isn't really that big a deal. Well unless you're one of those people that see the sky falling because you didn't get what you think is owed you.

What about all the Multiplayer weapons? Will we get a pack for all the weapons they added to multiplayer, but not singleplayer?? I really want those weaps to be in Single player... They had 2 packs with weaps from multi, but they didnt add all of them... Why give us SOME multi weapons if you arent going to give them all?  I want the Collector weapons, and the new ones from Reckoning.

I dont know about you guys, but this is kindof stupid, in my opinion.

Are they added with Citadel?

THIS

I cant imagine it would take much effort to get the weapons into singleplayer. And as someone who has not logged a single game online, it would actually encourage me to buy the non-SP DLC stuff - to use in campaign.

Also it's confusing as hell to figure out which weapons will appear in SP and MP and which are MP only

I feel like you guys might be a little bit happy next week, though not completely =P

Are you joking? People like that are only happy if they're complaining about something, if the stuff they want is included in Citadel, they'll complain that they can't buy it seperatley and if it's not, they'll complain thy're being given the finger. :pinched:

There's a reason I said it like that, though =P

I'm not saying that I found some information labelled as Citadel data in one of the game files but...

Well, you know.

They didn’t finish the Alternate Appearance Packs for Mass Effect 2 so why would they finish them for Mass Effect 3? I hope for the best but I expect the usual middle finger salute from BioWare.

I feel the same... the next pack would've been Samara, Legion, Mordin, and Jacob.

Or, three of those with the other being with Zaeed and/or Kasumi.

This pack would be, what? Tali, Vega, VS, and Javik?

Yeah... doubt we're seeing any of those.

Is there any chance we could get Mass Effect: Genesis 2? It'd feel like we'd be missing something not having it (despite how people feel about the quality of it, it'd still be useful for new games)

It doesn't feel right to have the only appearance pack be "Appearance Pack 1".

That would seem to imply at least an Appearance Pack 2.

Seriously, don't stick a '1' at the end of something if it's going to be singular. Wrongness! :-)

This. This. This

Also, I THINK that Citadel will be the Last HISTORY DLC, that means, one DLC that adds missions to the SP Campaign. Maybe we'll get some minor DLCs before Citadel is released. Like what happened with Alternate Appearence Pack 1: It got available before it was even announced.

There is a Genesis 2 in the Wii Version. Maybe they won't do it for PC, PS3 or XBOX.

It would, but it's unlikely that that will ever happen, because Javik is a DLC Character. Not everyone has him, especially those who didn't like the thing about Day 1 DLC.

So, here are the options:

a) Release it separetely, with a lower price.

B) Don't release it.

I really wanted some alternate appearence Packs for those people, BUT:

In ME2 Samara is one of the Characters that is Optional. You can do the Suicide Mission by recruting Tali and Thane and going to the Collector Ship, followed by the Reaper IFF. Then the Suicide Mission.

Legion is also an optional character, because you can choose whether to sell him to Cerberus or not.

Jacob: Well, that. Jacob wasn't liked by MANY of the ME fans. So why release a Pack that you have to pay for it for a Character that you don't like?

Mordin: Not happened.

Zaaed and Kasumi are a DLC Character, so there are many people who didn't bought the game and/or DLCs. So that would be unfair.

Mass Effect 3:

Tali: Possible candidate
Vega: [Same as Jacob(?)]
Virmire Survivor: Optional. You can chose if you kill him/her or send him/her to Hackett.
Javik: DLC Character

Tweedle, I'm sorry you feel this way, but you are not "owed" anything. Alternate appearances are nice, but not essential to completing the game. They are also not promised to you at any point. Instead of making more appearance packs, the team focussed on making story based single player content and free multiplayer content. Again, I am sorry you feel let down, but at the end of the day, we chose to put our resources elsewhere to make content that we believe more people would want.

The problem I have without addition appearance packs is the lack of symmetry. All should get bonus stuff. I want to give yall my money. Are the packs not profitable? If not I don't blame yall for not doing them.

If anything I'd love to have the collector weapons and m11 suppressor and lancer in the single player campaign. So any chance for a fire power pack?

By that token, isn't Thane optional as well? I mean, couldn't you just get Tali and Samara instead?

As far as Legion goes, can't you just leave Grunt in his tank to rot? So isn't he "optional" as well.

And true, but he was one pack away...

ME3:

I actually see a LOT of Vega love on the boards... not HUGE, but he's certainly not the pariah that Jacob is.

you can always make your own new costumes and mod the game yourself, the 3d models of all the characters are easy to extract from the game (instructions are even on this forum) and there are lots of tutorials out there to learn (the totally free 3d animation tool) Blender. the ONLY thing stopping you is your own determination, how bad do you want it? how much time do you want to put into making your vision a reality?

anyone who says they can't because they have a console is just making excuses, consoles can be hacked/jailbroken to run unofficial programs or access the filesystem. again it's a matter of how determined you are.(geohot hacked the iphone when he was still in highschool,so age is not a factor, and i'm pretty sure highschools don't teach courses on microelectronics, embedded systems or chip design so he would have had to learn all that on his own)

whining that other people aren't making your dreams come true is just skewed sense of entitlement. at the end of the day Bioware is a business,a business that has many employees that they have to pay. Is it a good idea for them to spend $10,000 for a team of programmers and 3d modelers to spend a week making an appearance pack so they can sell 500 copies at $2 each and lose $9000?

I'd like more outfits too, but it just isn't realistic to expect more. Very few people buy these appearance packs, it's not worth the time and effort from the devs.

And reading of what's in store for the Citadel DLC, I'm glad they chose to put their resources into other things. :)

Sorry we're not getting more appearance packs. Nice little option to have.

But hey, if it's between that or time on the MP/SP stuff, it's a real no-brainer.

Since the appearance pack that was released is designated "Appearance Pack 1," I'm going to go out on a limb and say that they had plans for "Appearance Pack 2" and possibly "Appearance Pack 3."

Too bad...

In ME2, Samara is no more optional than Tali or Thane, though. It all depends the order you complete the recruitment missions. One could easily get Samara first (or second) after Horizon. Hell, since Legion or Kasumi can fill the role of the tech specialist, Tali isn't even necessary...but I'd never go without.

I understand where your coming from Chris... I'm pretty sure that most of the Developers avoid the BSN because practically every other comment is about how "bad" the ending was... it has completely overshadowed Mass Effect 3 itself. We weren't "owed" a new or better ending either, but Bioware pulled their resources and bought back some VO Actors to make a more well rounded conclusion to the story. I liked what Bioware did, and was satisfied with the emotional impact.
There is only one thing that truly bothers me about Mass Effect 3... and its the bugs and glitches. I'm not going to pretend what goes on behind the scenes at Bioware, because I have no idea... I don't make video games so i'm not going to insult you or the developers about what you should or shouldn't do... but I do have a legitimate question to something that I would like to have answered openly and honestly. Is there going to be any future patches to fix some of the "bigger" issues with the game? I'm talking about issues like the Ashley Williams Marksman Ability spamming bug which was introduced in patch 1.03. Because I consider having one of my squad mates unable to use one of their ability's a problem. Or how about Aria T'loak's glitched speech in the Omega DLC, where she's warping and sliding around the stage... I know these things happen when introducing new content and patches to games, not everything can be accounted for. Even the newest patch 1.05 has apparently added audio and lip syncing problems to the romance scene before Cronos station, some characters are now talking "telepathically" to each other lol. No game is prefect... I know that better then most, but these bugs and glitches happen to pretty much everyone that plays the game. It just "seems" to myself and others, that Bioware and EA aren't properly testing their new content and patches before they're released, and maybe don't even realize these problems even exist...
I believe that Mass Effect 3 deserves more polish then what it has received... I'm not demanding new costumes, DLC, or texture mods, or even a better ending where everyone lives happily ever after... However I would like to know if Bioware knows about some of these issues, and if there are plans to fix them.
