 I finished the game with a character created in game, not in Character Creator. Is it possible to upload it to the site?

Yup, just login while in the game. (Just verify allowing upload of character is enabled in the options)

Maybe the problem is in name with cyrillic letters?

How can I change the name of a character?

I don't know about the online support of cyrillic based names.

Try to create a standard character name to verify if it is uploaded (it's not instant andcan take up to more than a hour to be visible on the website)

They were made in Character Creator; 6 with cyrillic names couldn't be used in game: I tried to begin new game and choose one of them, but they weren't in the list.

I was able to use only the last one (Erlemar) while beginning new game.

My in-game created character has never shown up on this site, despite the upload character profile option being ticked. 
My character creator characters have had no such problem.  Guess it's a bug somewhere.

Yes.

And one more strange thing - I can't see the button "Manage Characters" in my online profile.

I seen people with cyrillic letters in char's name on this social board. Don't worry, cyrillic letters can't be issue

I've read very recently on this board, that player have issues with the DAO Toolset when it's not installed in in folder named with only standard characters.

I don't know if the game itself has issue with it. I guess you could try to reinstall it using only latin letters based folders.

The problem is that folder with screenshots, characters and so on is created in "My documents" which are named in cyrillic letters: renaming this folder isn't a very good idea.

And I have Toolset installed in a folder a way to which uses cyrillic letters.

For info you can easily modify "My Documents" physical name and location. Windows allows to do it automatically with a "Move To" button in "My Documents" properties

But don't do anything because it's most probably not the cause of your character problem.
If you browse the forum around, you can notice latin users who have problem uploading their characters as well.

I don't know how to help you. If not looking at the suggested solution in the various Sticky topics about how to resolve this problem.

Windows has an internal alias path in latin-only characters. It shouldn't matter.

Russian.

Now changed it to English - the button "Manage Characters" appeared. Strange.

I create 2 characters in CC. One with russian name (cyrilic letters), and one with english name. Game only recognize SECOND character. Looks like Dragon Age: Origins can't see pre-created characters with russian names despite having russian localization and russian characters creator. I don't know how people have updated characters with 20-22 level and cyrillic letters.



I have same problem with "My Documents" folder. But renaming whole patch to it will be pain in the ****

I think so.

Achievements are being updated though.

Can you effect a change to a character imported from the Character Creator to verify this?

Not until RtO is released I think.
Though I suppose I could start the game again with one of the 1st level characters.

After several weeks, my character has now finally uploaded.
