So, I played for about 3 hours last nite. I was logged in with my account while I was playing. How do I get my information on my characater automatically uploaded while I am playing?

I simply can't update my character, i've played for hours and it still lists me has being level 1.



But achievements work.

I will also chime in with difficulties getting my character profile uploaded to the social site. It lists my 360 achievements but nothing else, not even acknowleding that I've created a character.

Same here on the PC. I was just assuming everything is overloaded with the game being released, but I could be wrong. I've put several hours in, at different intervals, I have 0 characters, 0 pictures, and a few achievements.

Yeah I'm in the same boat on the PC version. I must say that the game has run great on max settings with no lag or crashes, and no problems getting DLCs. It shows my achievements here very soon after I get them, but my level and equipment never change. Changing equipment and making different saves as it suggests in the help section doesn't fix it. It seems odd that it would update my achievements regularly but nothing else.

The only unusual thing besides this is that if I click the "games" tab under my profile it says that no game is registered to this profile, which is funny since I registered the DLCs on this profile and my achievements show up here. I did make both of these characters in the Character Creator and migrated them over to the game. Not sure if any of those things are connected to this issue.

Yeah, I was wondering if the character creator had some how corrupted data on the website. I tried to upload my character multiple times with the character creator, and it never posted online (despite the creator not giving an error message).

You know what... my characters that are here are from the CC. I wonder if I should delete them here, and then save the game again. It might not be a problem with the game, but rather a problem with the characters that are stored here. Let me try that out...

I am having the exact same issue, PC version. The uploading for pictures isn't working or for my character as well.

If you delete the characters from the site, wouldn't it delete them in game? It seems like they are some how linked because as soon as I launched the game it recognized my characters, but I am having the same problem as everyone else. The site show achievements, but not screenshots, no updated gear and no updated stats. Could someone from Bioware chime in on this?

What i would also like to know is if your character is uploaded to the site, does that mean you can log onto him from any Dragon Age game as long as you login? They didn't really do a great job explaining all this crap.

Just reporting that my profile has been properly updated with all items, kills, skills. And also my screenshots finally appeared here.



Seems that Bioware's severs were overloaded.

try doing an explict save, not a quick save or auto save. open up the game menu click save and so on... that seemed to work for me.

I was having the same issue; only CC characters showing up, not the actual character i play in-game. No character progress logged on the social site, just the achievements.

I've deleted all my pre-made CC characters from the site, then just started playing...problem solved. Sure, it took some (i mean, a long) time for all the updates to be made to the character profile but i blame the load on the servers.

I played for about six hours last night. Today when I look at my profile I see "0" characters on this site but it does correctly list my Achievements. So I know it is seeing my Gamertag correctly - just not uploading my character. What else do I need to do and how do I get screenshots as well?

There are some checkboxes to be selected on the "online" tab of the Options. There you can set how will the game handle your data/screenshots. They say you may influence the character upload by changing your gear and saving the game. You can also manually upload your screenshots from in-game, from the Character profile menu. There you can see your screenshots and their statuses (local or online). You can select the ones you like and click 'upload'. Note that it can take some time for them to show up here on the site. 
6 hours should be enough...(i finished playing yesterday around midnight and in the morning my profile was updated )

Oh, and i'm a PC, so there might be slight differences in the options on the 360...

fwiw, manually uploading a screenshot seemed to trigger the character update for me when nothing else was.
