As with reload cancelling, this is going to be much easier on the pc, as opposed to the console. :(

The omnibutton and melee button are right next to each other on a controller, so even if it's objectively easier to do on a PC (which I'm not seeing), it's not by a perceivable margin.

In order to press the melee button, one must remove their finger from sprint button, hence why it's going to be annoying because the window to pull it off will probably be incredibly small if there is one.

I don't have sausage fingers but I know I can slide my thumb while pressing the run button to activate my heavy melee.

Do kits using the batarian gauntlet also receive the DR during melee animation?

So, what you're saying is that when you have the Batarian Gauntlets equipped, and do a heavy melee while sprinting, it triggers the class's original melee (for most classes), and if you do a stationary heavy melee, it will do the melee unique to the Batarian Gauntlets, effectively giving any character TWO unique heavy melee attacks?

Thanks, Deerber. I can't believe I never noticed that.

It's not a big deal really, but somehow I've always been sad thinking that there's something everyone can do but my beloved Drell can't...

Is the Batarian heavy melee still in the tactical cloak damage buff timeframe?

Haha nice question. My guess actually is that you won't de-cloak until you land the hit... Based on other characters with a long wind-up heavy melee and TC like the huntress.

Damn, this might actually be a problem in some cases.

A lot of the time it's useful to sprint into a heavy melee, and the gauntlet is to replace some unpleasant melee's (default infiltrator) but won't happen when you're sprinting? :(

All that means is that you need better timing on when you engage your punch. Stop for a second to engage the FALCON PUNCH, or keep running in order to engage your standard melee.

Unless you're using the opposable digit that seperates us from the primates, yes. :wizard:

No, that digit is the one that you must use to press either the sprint or melee button and they cannot be pressed simultaneously unless your thumb is ginormous or you have two of them on your right hand. Said thumb must also generally manipulate the right thumbstick. It cannot possibly perform three tasks at one, and two is pushing it.

I think you are massively overestimating the distance between the A button and the B button. Also, we don't need to use our right stick to turn when sprinting; the left stick does it.

I have a buddy that plays by holding the controller with a claw hand. Thumb stays on right stick, pointer finger on A, and can hit B by turning, middle finger hits right bumper, ring finger on trigger.

I, personally, don't understand it, but he does, and thinks it makes sense.
