GFWL is old (though never gave me any issues) but when ME3 was released we were all aware it was about to transform into Xbox gaming within months. I don't claim it is marvellous, but it works far better than Origin. EA are happy to use it as well and make plenty of wonga out of it. I still see no good reason why I should be excluded and lumbered with Origin. Just mean-spiritedness on the part of EA I assume, since they only seem to use their control over Origin to put us at a disadvantage. Why? Still no idea. Just put a version up on Xbox gaming and we can all switch. Stop fannying around with Origin and use what's there unless you can do better. Which clearly, EA, you can't. You make games well. Stop trying to run a shop. It isn't something you're good at.

Someone said it will come tomorrow for PC since they are experiencing problems. If true, this is bad.

It was a confirmed troll. We've still got an Hour and 45 Minutes to go.

There is a good reason for these services. Copy protection. I much prefer online security to root kit style protection. Yes, I get the argument for having no protection, but it ain't gonna happen. Why though, when Windows has a working system built in WHICH EA ALREADY USES FOR ME3 ON CONSOLES are we relegated to unwanted bloatware? I can't think of a single reason why we need Origin. Not one. If Xbox users don't need it then why do we EA? If it gave EA control and allowed them to do better than Xbox gaming like Steam does then I'd get it. Origin has no advantage though so I still don't get why it's on my PC just for ME games.

actually copy protection isn't even a good argument anymore, no current form of it actually works anyway and just ends up hurting legit customers, Steam games have been cracked for quite some time and i've never looked but im sure Origin games are too, the only real appeal these services have for me is having all your friends and games in the same place

that said the EA dictators have banned free speach and were not supposed to talk about copy protection so we best keep off this topic

Or what, we'll never be heard from again? I think I could use that right now.

devs get pretty pissy when people talk about DRM which usually ends with warnings and bans

They said Noon PST. That translates to 8pm GMT over here in the UK. It's 6:15 pm exactly now.

I'm wondering this myself. I'm sure the previous DLCs came out at around 6, which was like 20 minutes ago. :crying:

Many people said 6 GMT, specifically.

Bioware has been as vague as ever.

I'm sure I remember downloading them when I arrived home from work. I work late, but not THAT late. I usually get home around 6.

That's the track record for previous ones. This one's running 2 hours late. BW even adknowledged it when it was announced.

If you can point out a reasonable period of time when Origin was not experiencing problems I'll br surprised. Origin is a constant problem. If that's the excuse then EA are clearly as aware as I am of their Origin mistake. Can we be permitted to buy it from Xbox gaming now please Origin? Can you please lift the PC ban and let us do what Xbox users can?

We've still got about 1 hour and 37 minutes to go.
Don't know about you guys, but a few runs of Gold/Platinum will both fill the time up AND give you more credits for the launch!

never gonna happen, they really dont care if we like Origin or not, its a program they fully control which allows them to sell full priced games with 100% of the profits going directly to EA rather then retailers, even if they sold on Steam Valve still gets a cut and EA is jelous of what Valve has done so they cant allow that
