The famous line by Edmund Burke applies to your post.
"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing."

And one more time for those with difficulty comprehending...
This isn't a comment on the right or wrong of cheating, it's a comment on the fact that they report the action, and then come strutting on the forum like they've slain a freaking DRAGON or something, digging for kudos or a pat on the back or a medal or some jello... fishing for some kind of acceptance or maybe even their own personal cheer squad. As for the prison "snitches get stitches" comment earlier? That refers to (usually) a group of people that ALL participate in the illicit activity, and then one of the group gets busted and turns his friends in for immunity. Also, snitching can have ulterior motives, I.E. to draw the eye of authorities from their OWN illicit activities, or perhaps overshadow (or misdirect attention from) their own misdeeds. I actually do hope that Bioware is investigating BOTH sides of every report, if for no other reason than to insure this isn't the case.
Either way, if you report something bad, good for you. I'm fresh out of medals for that, and gold stars... etc...
How about this..?

I don't condone bragging about reporting people, but I don't support verbal abuse either.

They're violating the terms of use. If they are, they should be banned, and yes, people will continue to glitch even with the bans. However, the key is to reduce the amount of glitchers who would ruin public matches. I think it's fair to not have to play private matches in order to avoid people who need instant gratification by violating the terms of use.

Allow me to reiterate.
It's their game, and their rules. You only bought a license.

I don't think it's too much to ask that one follows the house rules, do you?

What's the best thing to do about map bugs? I accidentally stumbled onto one at the end of a match. Conditions are very specific and difficult to replicate. I'll be actively avoiding those conditions. Mum's the word and keep it from spreading? That should be enough right?

You'll be fine. As long as you're not replicating the glitch to earn a "bajillion" credits, I don't think you need to worry.

I'm guessing it's a bannable offense if someone has all or most of the N7 promotional weapons unlocked, even if they've only played a few weekend events?

No wonder it takes 3 times as long to find a Platinum match with more than one person in it now. Even worse is the release of Crysis 3 taking away more EA fans, including myself. Controlled glitches hurt no one - it's the sporadic ones that should be reported and banned. What a shame, I actually loved ME3 multiplayer.

I'm fairly sure that the gift pack palooza will only result in the wepons being rolled back.

They really deserved it. I can only imagine Warlord smashing poor cheaters under his mighty hammer. That is justice!

Since it hasn't been said here I'd like to be the first to thank the cheaters for giving me the option of wasting my time by staying in a game where they're glitching, using map exploits, modding files.. Or I can waste the time/money spent to gain the consumables I'll lose by quitting.

Fwiw-nobody knows who said the quote attributed to Burke, nor when/where it came from.

You lose the consumables either way since you cannot benefit from cheating. And whilst you are at it you should also ban bad players so that the elite players like yourself are not put at risk of wasting consumables.

Not sure which is worse; people actually "cheating" or those people boasting about reporting and or applauding the fact someone got banned.

A very slippery slope here.

Pahahahaha 'elite' players moaning about using consumables is commical. Thats what they are there for so if you are an 'elite' player then you shouldnt worry since you can make them up again. You have to remember just because someone may fail in a game doesnt mean they are bad people its just a case they need to be shown the ropes.

oh and and remember people, if someone is holding their own against anything do take in concideration diffculty and what enemy it is.
far too many people are quick to assume 'cheating' 'glitching' 'over powered class' just because they can handle themselves or outscore them.
I regularly play Platinum with friends but may dip into Silver for a break and the amount of times I have been accused of one of the 3 is insane because of how butt hurt people get since I can handle my own and score a high amount of points.

Bioware why, after entering the game for the PC game requires a permit to purchase the network, if it ban it is not deserved, I bought all of your DLC, and never used cheats, I have already written to all of your service, but no one answers me, If you're reading this then help your fan base in this very nasty problem(((

You'd have to contact EA and ask them to give you a new key if you're on the PC spectrum, which means you'd have to ask them to remove the game from your account and give you a new copy, I'm not sure if they'll do it for you but I've read people saying it works, you just lose all your multiplayer stuff, make sure to ask them to re-register your DLCs to your account, one at a time, I heard that's something else you'd have to do, good luck

Does bioware still ban missile glitchers? Just ran into one in a public platinum match and captured some footage.

The second one used over 40 medpack on Platinum.
The thrid one had 200000+ achievement points.....

Um, have I been banned? I'm on the PC, and getting told that I need to purchase an online pass, now. My game was working fine before today. If I have been banned, then I'm pretty pissed off about it, since I've never goddamned cheated. Unless we're counting the reload cancelling exploit as cheating?
