Dunno if this'll help but I just encountered a cheater on Platinum. He had an Adas AR that shot as fast as a fully charged PPR and the damage would pretty much one-shot mooks and kill Atlas in less than half a normal Adas clip. The guy was a juggernaut and his movement speed was sporadic, but moved as fast as a drell with adrenaline mod 3. A Juggernaut...fast as a drell...wat? I can give the name if need be.

Pretty sure nobody is going to get banned anymore, so you are likely wasting your time.

Well apparently it still isn't over, since I've reported somebody and asked some moderator that he was still around (because I had some troubles at reporting by mail), and the guy told me that they only ban people through ban waves ; they never ban people one at the time.

Yet he or she still gave my report to the "QA Team" (called QA at least in French).

Does a game hosted by the cheater affect your own game? I was just in a Gold match with a Juggernaut who modded the Javelin to fire continuous shots (wtf) and for some reason my own SMG had turned into one with infinite ammo (like the Lancer, but without the overload). Not only that, but I swear the guy (or girl?) was firing shots straight through the map.

I'm not sure if I should take the trouble to report this, since BioWare/EA has quit support for the ME3 multiplayer.

Yes, host is responsible for that.

Btw.:
Ban Wave 4:  August 23, 2012
Ban Wave 5:  Oct 19th, 2012
Ban Wave 6: Dec. 21st, 2012
Ban Wave 7: Feb 26th, 2013
The sequence is broken since end of April.

Yeah I think I know who you're talking about - I dropped into a match with that guy too.

I just "played" with a hacker using a Batarian Sentinel who was able to use his Submission Net on other players...and considering how long that thing last, it was enough for the Geths to kill us... -_-

I don't know if you can read this BOSS_Dragon, but i hope you enjoy your ban after the report i just sent.

It´s frustrating to see what´s going on. Just reported my fifth rocket glitcher this week. Every day there is one of these losers...

I bet there will come a huge ban bang for these guys... Posted Image

Sooo... with no balance changes and what seems to be no ban waves, missile glitches are in abundance. Even websites detailing how to do the glitch and videos on Youtube showing it. Guess we are on our own, eh BioWare?

Banning is not the answer. Just fix the glitches, maybe add pvp.

That was evident when they announced back handedly that overt support for the game was over.

The leaderboards are meaningless, particularly at the top end.  W/O ban waves, and w/o weekend operations, the pull to continue playing ME3 MP is dying, at least for those of us who were playing at this time last year.

Just had a Glitcher on Firebase Hydra. I reported him. It wasn´t a single glitch, that happened accidentally, but he did it several times with Firebase Hydra preselected as a map.

I didn´t do it, because I am a snitch. I did do it, because he needlessly dragged the game out for 10 more minutes unnecessarily instead of just playing with us and in the process put more pressure on the team making us waste more consumables. So his gain was our loss.

Would you life with a parasite? Because that´s what cheaters/glitchers are.

I'm really thinking they won't ban anyone anymore.

It has been already a month since I've sent a report directly to a moderator (who told me we have to wait for the next ban wave but heh...), and between two and three since I've reported the same person by myself.

Results : He still has 255 consumables everywhere, manifest maxed since January (and only two weeks after the Citadel DLC), only plays either in Solo or/and invisible with a modified coalesced, and thanks to that, who's grinding Challenge Points & N7 like crazy. The worst thing about it is that he was a friend, and completely denies cheating, even when it's clearly obvious.

Also, even worse : I've reported another guy who one shot Atlases with the Acolyte, accompanied with a video as a proof. Not only did I encounter him some time after, but the video did not get a single view except from my own and some of my friends ! So I wasted my time to upload a video with my ridiculously slow internet speed for absolutely nothing. Freaking. Great.

If by June, there's no ban wave, or this guy is still online, it's gonna be hard for me to stay on this game.

EDIT : Oh, just noticed, the one I reported with the video is actually still high in the leaderboards.

In many cases it should be possible to automatically ban people, example:
- 54 games (18 hours) played
- maxed manifest
- >27000 N7-Rank
- 60 promotions within 4 hours

Unless that guy spent over 18.000.000 BW-Points buying packs he is a cheater, all it needs to get rid of cheaters like him is an algorithm that validates if the manifest (games/time played, credits, promotions/N7, challenge points) is possible without cheating.

Guys, let's not name and shame. That's not exactly cool.

Just use the e-mail in the original post of this thread to report them.

A game that has lower numbers from launch due to other great games having come out over the past year, and we're still trying to get more people banned - brilliant.

I will never understand how this being a co-op, I repeat co-op, NOT competitive, multiplayer has people getting others banned.

My hands are clean, so I'm not worried in the least, but I'd love to know how many make their day-to-day living with their position on the leaderboards, or win hundreds of thousands of dollars at MLG competitions for this game to where someone using a glitch that coincidentally hasn't been patched in 3 updates deserves a ban.

You use an in-game glitch to get in-game credits to unlock in-game content. I miss the days of Crash Bandicoot where everyone minded their own business and there was none of this online hulabaloo. It's honestly nothing short of pathetic how people get booty tight over this sort of thing, ESPECIALLY for a cooperative multiplayer.

Because you only end up in matches with him, huh? That really sucks, especially when he's using the glitch to kill you so often.
