am stuck with expedition

Can someone help me with starting the expedition. I have enough money but I'm suppose to bring Varric to Barghan(??) but Varric won't come and everytime I go to Barghan, he asks me to bring Varric. So I'm stuck---what can I do???? Thanks in advance for the help.

Varric's brother is Bartrand.
I don't understand your problem here. You know how to change your party roster, right? Just go to Gamlen's house or to one of those special red banners found throughout Kirkwall and put Varric in your party. Then go see Bartrand in Hightown.
Besides getting enough money, you also have to get the map from Anders during Tranquility and finish all the other main quests in Act 1 (Enemies Among Us, The Long Way Home, Wayward Son, Blackpowder Promise, Act of Mercy and Shepherding Wolves).
You have to do those quests because they introduce you to people who will be important later on.
