Not sure if it's been mentioned already...
If you go to first meet Bann Teagan in Redcliff without Alister, and you introduce yourself as a Gray Warden, almost the first thing he says is roughly - "You are a Gray Warden? Do you know a warden called Alistair? Do you know if he's alive?"
And if you say that yes, Al's still around and kicking, Teagan is genuinely happy to heat that.

Aww, he cares!

And what's even better, when I returned to him later that day, this time with Al in tow, Teagan immediately goes, "hey, do I know this guy? Alistair, that you? Welcome!" and they have a conversation, brief, but longer than what you get if you have Al with you from the start. :)

I'm going to have to do this too. :) Great dialogue, and makes me <3 Bann Teagan even more. Maybe he'll be in the expansion....

Well, I don't think anyone has mentioned, but it's probably common knowledge...

Since Wynne is a 'mature" woman, Wynne and Zev have a very nice conversation about her "magical bosom."  Of course, this is preceding another bosom talk...

Wynne: Have you changed your mind yet? Are you willing to speak seriously?
Zevran: Of your bosom? As you wish.
Wynne: (exasperated) No, I do not wish to speak of my bosom.
Zevran: But it is a marvelous bosom. I have seen women half your age who have not held up half so well. Perhaps it is a magical bosom?
Wynne: Stop... talking about my bosom.
Zevran: But I thought you wished to speak seriously?
Wynne: I do. I thought, however foolishly, that you might be willing to speak of your past.
Zevran: We could do that. There have been many bosoms in my past, though only few as fine as yours.
Wynne: Enough. I am ending this conversation.

FYI: If you want to hear these, just go to Orzamarr. Keep walking over the bridge to the Proving Grounds (although, you'll have to area transition for it to fire again.  I've read that it works better if you turn off auto-save).  You can also do a lot of party switch-ups in Orzamarr. How convienient!

Not really hidden but my two favorites involve Shale and Oghren.

When you decide to double-cross Zathrian and tell him that he's going to pay (die) Shale interrupts with: "LET ME! LET ME!".

And then when I went to Soldiers Peak, Oghren started bragging about how I should give him and some of his pals some time to fix me a propper castle. To which Shale replied: "Warden, your drunkard is hallucinating again."

Must try this! Like most Alistair fangirls, I never go anywhere without him, so I had no idea...! :)

One of the most touching banters I’ve heard was Wynne talking to Alistair about the child she had in the mages tower during her youth and how she misses him due to her having to give him up to another family. Alistair reminds her of the son she couldn’t raise. It was very touching. :)

Since no one seems to use dog but me...you do get some funny ones with him, morrigan doesn't like him...at all. But then she doesn't like much of anyone... Al at one point asks about how smart the dog really is, and the dog responds pretty hilariously. You also get a funny story from leliania about how she threw a dog over a banister once when it bit her leg. Quite entertaining.

As well if you talk to dog in camp you get some funny interactions the one with sten growling at the dog is my favorite.

I don't know, I think she's got a soft spot for him.

* Morrigan: "Do not even try it! I would not give you a biscuit had I one."
* Dog: Sadder eyes
* Morrigan: "Oh... very well. But tell no one!"

Morrigan surely has a soft spot for Dog! how can anyone not see it :) It's all pretense. If you take him in your party surely you must know that.

I also discovered Sten/Oghren banter yesterday. It's not hidden of course, but since they're both 2-handers I assume not many people have them both in a party at a time. It is very amusing though, Oghren accusing Sten of farting :D

I thought I mentioned it in this thread, but must have been a different one. If you have dog in your party the first time you enter Denerim, he runs off and brings back a little boy. You have to talk him into returning the boy to his parents. If you have him in your party when you go to Brecilian camp for the first time, he will growl at the keeper, giving you your first indication that something is not right. And if you have dog in your party when you go to the village to get Shale, the dog will growl menacingly at the demon cat. There are so few moments with dog in the game that finding these scenes are a real treat.

And if you are in Anvil of Void or one of the thiags, if you ask dog if he sees anything interesting, he will bring back an unique helm called "Duty." (I was in Broodmother's room when I discovered it.)

Yeah, on my second play through I brought Dog to meet Kitty hoping for just that kind of response.

If you have Dog with you in Soldier's Peak, he will growl as soon as you appear on site. When you first enter the room with Sophia Dryden, he will really GROWL and she will react negatively and comment about him.

Speculation - Marbari were bred by a mage, suppose he also bred in them the ability to detect demons? Except he does not react to Flemeth negatively.

@ Gilsa: Yes, I agree, those moments when Dog does something like totally rock. I went to Honnleath first without him, and then I thought - riiight, there's a demon cat, i wonder if... So I was really happy when I saw that there was a special response from him.

Didn't know about Zathrian though! Will have to try that!

I have also had Dog bring me the Ancient Eleven Boots in the East Brecilan Forest.

Yeah, that's true. Maybe he's just grateful she saved his master.
Also it's kind of silly but I actually trust Morrigan due to the fact that Dog likes her. I mean, she can't be really evil when Dog adores her so. :)

Oh this one's a riot. Only had it come up once, never again.

Al: Wait a minute, what're you talking about?

Ohgren: What're you talking about?

The "little pike-twirler" banter between Oghren and Wynne regarding Alistair is pretty hilarious too. I only have one question: in all my many playthroughs, I have yet to come across a pike. So where did Alistair get one, and why is he twirling it in the woods, of all places?

I have yet to see this one

Lol, maybe he is. In my first game, in Lothering, crossing the bridge the first time, Morrigan scolded Dog for eating her herbs and that he is lucky the poisonous ones did kill him. Then, on the return trip over the bridge I got her dialogue where she feeds him. I think she likes him a lot and is a softie for him.

I've gotten this dialogue between Leiliana and Dog in every game I've played, so I assume all of you have seen it. I mention here for completeness since we are all Dog fans. Leiliana is praising him and telling him how she is writing about everyone in the adventure. She calls him a glutton and he objects and she changes it to a lover of fine foods. Cracks me up every time.

Aye, if I remember right, Zathrian has a snide comment for the dog, too. ;)

NOOOOOOO! Teagan can't be gay!!!

*Snorts some tea through her nose*
Honestly, the singlemindedness of some people! :P
I meant that he cares in an uncle-ry kind of way. Alistair is kinda foster son to his brother, after all. :D

Why couldn't Teagan be gay or bi and still be uncle-ry caring for Alistair? Teagan is a great character either way. If you buy the green dragon sword from Kaitlyn for 5g, she marries Teagan. So that would argue that he is bi/straight, and not gay.

Just FYI, for this to work for me I had to leave Redcliffe (before the zombie battle) and get Alistair out of camp, then bring him to Teagan.  It didn't work just switching him out in town, for whatever reason.  Ah, but that Teagan is a lovable guy....kind of makes you feel good that he cares about Alistair, since the poor guy kind of has this complex about people not caring for him.

Sten and Dog.

At one point, Dog *insists* Sten play fetch with him.

At another, Sten is trying to understand what Dog is saying and asks him if a child has fallen down a well.....
