Who wants to bet this is the reason:

Electronic Arts: Titanfall never coming to PS4

I'll point out that that article title is deliberately misleading: that only refers to the Aveline content, not all DLC.

I skipped ac3 because it kind of felt like a poor mans Red Dead Redemption but I've been playing AC4 and am enjoying so far.  Just about done with Havana and I like the flavor of this one.  Plays almost exactly like Ezio's campaigns gameplay wise though.

@pirate1802 - I love the sea shanties and there are loads to collect (including the Randy Dandy one used in one of the trailers).  They also play sea shanties in a tavern on Nassau.

@Vez04 - really sad to read that article - very underhand of Ubisoft.

I'm so far enjoying this as much as AC2. I have the Jackdaw now and the sea is really authentic graphically speaking.

This game is so much fun. I played last night after work for about 7 hours, and it went by in a heartbeat.

I got the Jackdaw, my hidden blades (woo hoo!), and recruited a crew of pirates. I've actually gotten some of the shanties, and they're pretty fun. Now I kinda wish I would have gotten the one in that first location, instead of giving up.

Oh! And the sailing! I've really missed this. It was my favorite part of AC3.

I pretty much cleared Havana (skipped a couple of assassination contracts, but got everything else), and am now in Nassau.

I'm not too worried about it, and I'm not sure it's worth the gas to go complain about it. Plus...I don't know that it was GameStop's mistake. When I redeemed the code, there was some kind of message from Microsoft/XBL talking about that whole points to cash conversion business. I'm wondering if the amount was lost in translation, as I've seen that before.

Oh yeah, LOVING it would be more accurate. It's got everything I liked from previous games in it, and the sailing is just fantastic. Edward is leagues better than Connor (what were they thinking?).

Now I just need to advance the story further along, so I can actually upgrade my ship. Right now, all of the harbormasters keep telling me that they only deal with ship captains. Waa.

Once I got to Nassau, I went into a shop, and realized I could equip the outfits I'd acquired from playing previous games, but instead, opted to wear the Governor's outfit (from the social chest challenge). They really excel at awesome-looking clothing.

Edit: I was trying to find an image of it, but didn't have much luck. IGN has images of some of the outfits.

The shanties are cool and the ambient music is the best I've heard in an assasins creed game.  Really great tracks.

@Happy - I have seen my local Game shop still selling cards for some games but they still show points. I don't know if XBox still deal with points, because everything is shown in currency.  And yes,  Edward is so much better. Very likeable indeed!

I am still in the early stages (after 10 hours of gameplay}. I keep getting distracted sailing around on the Jackdaw, sea shanties aplenty. I just love it! I think it's going to take a very long time to finish this game!

Oh, and Ubisoft have listened to fans about the Uplay Passport/Online pass and those without the pass will now be able to download it from XBL and PSN -

I read that about the backtracking on Uplay, so glad that's over was interesting idea but it rarely allowed me to connect. One thing I will say though is that EA gets a ton of flack for online passes, yet when they stopped they removed it from all past games almost immediately. From reading quotes Ubisoft seems to be removing only from AC4 and from future releases, what about the older games?

Hooray, I'm now able to upgrade the Jackdaw, and have been doing it pretty heavily. I keep finding islands with those gold ULC chests, so I really haven't needed to pay to buy better equipment.

I ventured into Black Island last night (marked as BI on the far right side of the map), that I think was a preorder exclusive. I got some pretty nifty rewards for that, and it was a fun, albeit kinda easy, mission.

Let's just say that my Edward now looks like a proper pirate.

And I tried harpooning a white whale. That didn't go so well. I hadn't upgraded my little boat or harpoons, and kept getting capsized by his tail. I'll get back to that later. Right now, I'm having way too much fun sailing the high seas.

I feel kind of silly, but I didn't realize for a while that you could actually go into the captain's quarters on the ship.

Like hearing your contiuned impressions as you go through the games story Happy, please keep doing that!

^ Oh, good. I was hoping I wasn't annoying anyone too much.

Hey, if you guys see any icons that look like a cave, while you're out exploring, be sure to venture in. Those are smuggler's dens. They're not all that big, or particularly difficult, but it's a great way to make some cash, and practice your stealth kills. Sometimes there are even animals roaming around that you can kill/skin to upgrade your gear.

They look like (?) undiscovered locations until you get close to one, so it could take some time to find them all.

Nah, I tried the white whale like 5 or 6 times and I'm convinced that the fishing boat and harpoons have to be MAXED for this one.  It is the white whale, after all.

The bull sharks are pretty easy though.
