Anybody notice the IT guy at abstergo sounds a lot like Brandon Keener(Garrus) and he talks about calibrations a few times? I think that was intentional, pretty sure.

Agreed. If you told me that this game would surpass AC2 a month ago, I wouldn't have believed it but it has at that.

Not really sure if there is poker. There is a mini game though that you can do at taverns, but never did them myself so I don't know 

I've unlocked almost all of the taverns, and I haven't seen it. There's checkers, something like Othello, and one other, but I think it's also a board game of some sort. I've been looking for you, but each tavern only has 1 game, so it takes a while to check them all. You might be out of luck for poker.

I totally agree. I'm only at sequence 7, and I have been of that opinion for a while, now, as I'm sure everyone who is playing it is. It's hella fun, and you can play it to suit your own tastes.

I did run into a bug/glitch last night on one of the Templar quests. It was the shooting one...anyway, after the cutscene, the screen went black. Everything was there: the mini-map, health bar, status updates, etc., but the image was gone. Fighting in waves blind was a trick, but I got past it on the second try. I reloaded both the last checkpoint and the last memory, and it didn't help. I ultimately had to quit and restart; then it went back to normal. Thank goodness.

Anyway, yada yada yada, now I have the Templar armor.

How customizable is the Jackdaw? Will my ship look diff from yours?

Well, you can buy or otherwise obtain various figureheads and sails, (and wheels, but that isn't super obvious), but they're all pre-made items. You can't pick something and colorize it, or change the pattern. I assume that you can do that kind of thing in multiplayer, but not in single player.

Well, I left off in sequence 7, and have just shy of 40 hours invested in this. I haven't even been to the bottom part of the map yet! This seems like it will be a very long run for me, and I'm fine with that.

One of my XBL friends already has all of the sunken chests, and forts liberated. And the Templar armor. And has defeated all Legendary ships. And...and...good lord. The guy has an AC tattoo, if that tells you anything.

After I got the diving bell, I went through one underwater wreck, and barely made it out of there alive. Between the sharks, the eels, and the urchins, I was blood on the sand. I tried a different one later, thinking, maybe this time, there won't be sharks. Nope. There were even more sharks! It was at a location where I had an assassination contract. It seemed like you had to get through the shark area, then surface somewhere to get to him, but I never even made it that far. I went back to the diving bell and said to hell with it.

Started over again yesterday and currently taking my time with this playthrough. Doing everything that is available this time!
I think the underwater levels are really kewl but the controls sometimes really suck :/

How long do you get to stay underwater, would you say?

Is there a way to get more air sans going back to the diving bell?

Maybe about 20-30 seconds? Not long enough to make it through the whole area, that's for sure. Aside from the bell, there are usually air barrels you can use, but they're only one-time use. In other areas, there are air pockets.

Yes i have AC4 igot it the first day it came out but after 3 hours of playing it i got bored.

I can't get these shanties out of my head.  Spanish ladies is my favorite, I think.


But yeah, I liked AC2.  This game is one I've been looking for for a long time now though.  For me it goes AC4>AC2>AC1.  Never played 3.  I'm taking my time as well, I'll be it'll be a 40-50 hour game for me as I'm after every single chest and fragment.
