That pretty much confims PS gamers have being lied to.
Why you might ask, well because us PC Gamers now get Aveline Exclusive content in DDE too, so aint that very close to just them being secret and only now tell the truth about that DLC?
I don't really understand your second sentence.
I'll agree that they lied--if they'd planned this, which I'm not sure of, but in this case going back on their word was better than doing more stupid exclusives.

With my second Sentence, i was meaning that, their supposed Aveline DLC was supposed to be Exclusive to PS Owners only, but now We PC Gamers are getting it too (it must be that DLC they mean for DDE edition, what else would it be with Aveline that none have heard of yet?) so it is basically them, having kept this Secret until now, and now lie to the PS Owners.

I have noticed reports saying that AC4 has sold 60% less than AC3 at this stage in the UK. But then Battlefield 4 has sold 69% less. I am hoping this is because of the next gen consoles and that it hasn't come out on PC yet, because I am enjoying the game far more than AC3. Or it could be the GTA5 effect.
Who knows.

@Happy - love that Minecraft pic. Ashamed to say I have never played Minecraft!

Well, I think it's because of next gen. If someone already decided to buy a PS4/Xbone, it makes the most sense to wait for that version of the game and enjoy the better visuals.
My brother bought BF3, but he won't buy BF4 on current gen consoles: he's deciding between PC and PS4.
Regarding the Aveline content: I'd like to try it out and I'll probably buy Liberation HD, but I hope they'll give the DLC for AC4 to those that buy the physical CEs as well.

I continued gathering more metal for upgrading the Jackdaw last night, but took a more aggressive approach than I had been. Before, I was looting warehouses, but I set my sights higher. I first took out two forts that were across the water from each other, then went to town in that area, attacking navy convoys (regular and royal). Every so often, I'd happen to spot a white whale, so I finally took those on. I now have a Whaler outfit! (Well, I switched back to Templar armor right away). Then I continued the plundering.
I still have a long way until the Jackdaw is fully upgraded, but I'm not too worried about it. If I continue along the path that I'm on, I can see a fully upgraded hull in the near future (can't wait!) Well, and all the other stuff.
I also explored all the shipwrecks. I missed one abstergo dealio, but it wasn't for lack of trying. I could not figure out how to get on the other side of a wall, and said to hell with it. Between the sharks and suffocating...yeah. I got all the chests in each wreck, at least.
@Newschmoo - I haven't played Minecraft either.
I'd echo Milena in guessing that the lackluster sales probably have to do with the next gens/pc. Do they take preorders into account? I mean, is it considered a sale if someone only has to put $5 down to hold it? I bet we'll see the numbers change around, once everyone else has a chance to play.

thanks for those. I saw that you healed my ship, but I'm not sure how to do that. Does it happen automatically when people are online at the same time?
Also, I finally got the elite harpoon but I couldn't find a white whale. Before this they were popping up left and right

Both people don't have to be online at the same time. If you log off/quit, but have ships still in progress when a friend logs in, they can still help speed up your ships. I've been sending mine out on long missions, so that hopefully they'll still be in progress when friends play.
Yeah, I thought those white whales displayed on the map, but they don't seem to, unless you're very close to it.
In one instance last night, I was hunting down a royal navy icon, and it ended up being a white whale (wrong icon displaying). Maybe look for those blue ship icons instead?

By the way, where do people want the next Assassin's Creed to be set in? I'm not sure, but here are the places that I would like them to explore:
-French Revolution
-Haitian Revolution
-Napoleonic Wars
-Russian Revolution
-16th century Ottoman Empire during Suleiman was the Sultan
-13th century Egypt and North Africa
-Meiji Restoration in Japan
-World War 2 Europe
-1920s Prohibition era America
-Gilded Age America
-America during the Age of Jackson
-World War 2 Asia
-21st century
-1960s America
-The Black Death
-Fall of the Roman Republic
-Viking Age
-100-years war
-The real-life persecution of the Knights Templar, early 14th century
-Victorian England

For a massive game, AC4 has a lot of little things I like such as the crew cheering when you return to your ship and after you upgrade it. Its also nice being told you are on an island that you have a treasure map for. I always get frustrated in other games that don't do this (Red Dead Remption, Skyrim...).
I know what you mean. I like silly little things like water drops appearing on your screen when sailing through a storm.
@AstusOz - good to hear that you got the game
@Cap Obvious - I would quite like to either go way back in time (such as ancient Greece or Eqypt) or bring it a bit forward in time to Victorian London or maybe go to India during this period.

I hate underwater beastie enemies. It started with Oblivion's slaughterfish and the heavy 'WHAP' you'd feel when they hit you. Throw in some of the Dragon Age spiders and I'm gonna need some therapy.Kalas747 wrote...

Hey, do you guys know which ships I need to take that can carry 75 cargo (Kenway's Fleet). Please don't tell me it's a legendary ship...yikes. I've got 4 man o' wars in the fleet now, but they only carry 70. I got all 15 docks finally, but most ships I just end up salvaging these days.
I just started the game up, and when it loaded, I was in between two patrol ships, who immediately started firing on me. If I can give any advice, it's to be somewhere safe when you quit.
PS, I just started sequence 10, and still no rope dart. I feel like I should have started that sentence with 'Dear Diary'.

~ Lv. 45 Man of War should have sufficient cargo space. Alternatively, raise your Wanted level to the max and the Hunter that comes after you should have about 90 cargo.
Ok, so I've taken every fort, and just got the Mayan outfit, yay! I have just one upgrade left for the Jackdaw, so that will be done soon. I started sequence 11, and still no rope dart. Am I missing something?
Edit: Oh! Just got it. First memory of sequence 11.
