Have you been impressed with the level of details (I mean during storms do you see the water running down the ship and the detail in the fauna) like you can on the PS4 videos?

It definitely looks outstanding on PC; I can run it on Ultra High, and that's got the waves splashing down the hull, seemingly unlimited view distance, loads of vegetation ..and surprisingly for Ubisoft, I'm not noticing their usual bad PC port.

Glad to hear it looks great on PC. I thought it looked gorgeous on the Xbox but to have it high res on the PC leaves me feeling v excited :-) I need all that gorgeous Caribbean scenery, it's so bloody miserable here (weather that is)!

I don't really like the design of the protagonist. He look like a wimp. Thatch look amazing though.
YO oh !!
It's one of the greatest game I played this years. The game really nailed well the ''freedom' of piracy at the cost of others thing. Although the game seem to miss on other area. Like deep personalization of character or lack therefore. Roaming the sea and naval battle are fun. Fighting still way too easy and not challenging at all. There's also wayyy too many ship all around. It's make their sighting less epic.
It's a great game lacking on other area, but still awesome. And yess... The design of the protagonisty is terrible.. COme on ? Blondie ?? He look too much like the other protagonist.

I was doing really well at first. Lost one full bar and had the enemy down to a third health left, then they decided to get out of my range and bombard me with mortar.

I went after one early on and got wasted. I was able to take them down once I had upgraded my ship to mostly all 'elite' levels. The one on the southeastern part of the map took a while to figure out. Good luck!simfamSP wrote...
I need to upgrade the Jackdaw some more before I take on those Legendary ships. Damn I gave them one hell of a fight, but in the end...

Just destroyed and boarded a Man O' War, two Frigates, and a Schooner in what was potentially the hairiest fight of all time. Had a sliver of armour left on the Jackdaw and boarded the Man O' War hoping I could repair my ship with it before the two Frigates messed me up - and defying all logic, it worked. And I then proceeded to destroy the two frigates, and came out with enough loot to buy about 3 upgrades.

I feel f***ing awesome.
One day it'll be Legendary Ships. One day...

Are you seeing significant Visual updates on XBOne compared to AC3 on PC?

You can cycle through shanties by pressing right on the d-pad.Blooddrunk1004 wrote...
Is it possible to tell your crew which shanties to sing?
Pressing down causes them to stop singing altogether.

How are the draw distances? The X360 version looks decent except when you can get high up and see far away areas.LPPrince wrote...

I can't speak for PS4, but I'll imagine its true for them because its certainly true for me on Xbox One.
I can see for miles and miles and its clear as day.

I have an ENTIRE fleet of Man o' Wars.
Love it.

Man O Wars are good for large cargo jobs (but I need to find one that carries 80+ cargo), but downside is that they are a bit slow. My favourite ship is a schooner called the Cutty Sark, just cause it's the Cutty Sark! And it's always the first ship back.
